국문 초록

이 연구는 죽음과 관련된 고통을 경험을 하고 그 극복과정의 양상과 의미를 고 찰한 글이다. 산악인 이인정의 구술생애담을 대상으로 죽음 관련 경험이 이인정에게 준 고통과 그 극복과정을 살펴보았다. 이인정이 구술한 생애에는 아버지의 죽음, 동료의 죽음, 후배의 죽음, 자기자신 의 조난 등의 경험에서 고통을 겪고 극복했다. 이인정은 아버지의 죽음으로 인한 고통을 극복하기 위해 등산했다. 이인정은 등산을 통해 경제적, 정신적 고통을 극복하고 아버지의 부재를 극복했다. 이인정은 등반 도중 동료의 죽음을 겪었고 산악인인 후배가 실종되는 고통을 겪 었다. 이인정은 가까운 이들의 죽음을 겪으면서 그 고통을 개인적으로 극복하지 않고 그 고통을 사회적 공헌을 통해 극복했다. 이인정은 조난 경험을 통해 극심한 고립감, 육체적 고통을 겼었다. 이인정은 죽 음의 순간을 나눌 수 있는 네팔인 셰르파의 가치를 발견하고 존중해야 한다는 깨달음을 얻었다. 또한, 네팔인들의 경제적 고통을 이해하고 주한네팔명예총영사가 되어 네팔인 노동자를 도왔다. 아울러, 이인정은 그간의 죽음 관련 경험을 통해 남을 도와야 한다는 결심을 하 게 되고 이를 실천했다. 자신이 설립한 기업의 이윤을 사회에 환원했다. 이인정이 구술한 생애담의 분석을 통해 개인적인 고통의 경험을 개인 차원의 인 내와 애도에 머무르지 않고 극복과정으로서 사회공헌이 이루어졌음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study is an article about experiencing the pain associated with death and the analyzing the aspect and meaning of its overcoming the process of overcoming it. This study examines the pain and death of the experiences of death for of Lee In-jung in reference to his oral her life history’s oral life story. Lee In-jung In his life, he suffered and overcaome the experiences of hisherfather’s death, hisercolleague’s death, his junior’s death and hiserjunior’s death, and his her own distress. Lee In-jung climbed to overcome his her father’s death, prevailing over Lee In-jung overcame both the economic and mental pain that she endured inand climbed hiserisfather’s absence through mountain climbing. Lee In-jung faced suffered the death of a colleague while climbing and likewise suffered the loss of her a junior climber. He SheIn-jung Lee overcame fought through the pain through social contributions, not through without letting herself be devoured by her personal suffering, at the same time while suffering mourning the death of close the people close to himer. Lee In-jung endured suffered extreme isolation and physical suffering through her herdistressful experiences. Lee In-jung HShelearned that hesshe hemust discover and respect the value of Sherpa, a Nepalese who can share the experiences regarding the moment of death. In addition, she understood the economic suffering of the Nepalese people and helped Nepalese their workers to become Honorary Consuls of Nepal. In addition, Lee In-jung also decided to help others by through sharing experiences related to death and practicing the coping methods she preached and practiced it. The profits of the company she founded were returned used to help to society. The analysis of oral life-historyies narrated by Lee In-jung shows that social contribution was achieved utilized as a process ofto overcomeing the experience of personal suffering without enduring personal endurance and mourning.
