사회정서 발달을 위한 신체·예술 활동이 유아의 대인관계 및 공격성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 사회정서 발달을 위한 신체·예술 활동이 유아의 대인관계와 공격성에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 함이다. 이를 위해 S시에 소재한 어린이집 만 5세 2학급을 각각 실험집단과 비교집단으로 선정하여, 신체·예술 활동을 8주 동안 주 3 회 총 24회기 실시하고, 사전과 사후에 대인관계 능력검사와 공격성 검사를 실시하여 그 차이를 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 본 연구에서 구성한 사회정서 발달을 위한 신체·예술 활동이 유아의 대인관계와 공격성을 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 첫째, 유아의 대인관계 능력인 관계 형성하기, 지시 따르기, 사회반응성, 긍정적 상호작용에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째, 유아의 공격성 구성요소인 대인공격성, 언어공격성, 대물공격성 감소에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 학습 자인 유아의 관심과 흥미를 중심으로 하는 신체·예술 활동을 활용하여 유아의 사회정서 발달을 증진시킬 수 있으며, 나아가 유아 개인의 삶과 사회구성원으로서의 사회적 안전성을 도모할 수 있음을 보여주는 결과라 하겠다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of physical and art activities for social and emotional development on children’s interpersonal relationship and aggression. For this purpose, two classrooms consisted of 5-year-old children from a childcare center in S city were selected as the experimental group and the comparative group respectively. Then, physical and art activities were implemented 24 sessions for 8 weeks, 3 times a week. As a result of this study, physical and art activities for social and emotional development influenced children s interpersonal relationship and aggressiveness. First, the physical and artistic activities for development of social emotions were found effective in the children s abilities to build interpersonal relationships such as establishing relationships, following directions, social responsiveness and positive interactions. Second, the physical and artistic activities for development of social emotions were revealed to be effective for reducing child aggression components such as aggression against others, verbal aggression and aggression against things. The results of this study suggest that the use of physical and art activities centering on the interest and interest of young learners can enhance the development of social emotions of children and further promote social safety as an individual s life and social members.
