외국인 학생들의 한글춤 교육프로그램을 통한 자모지식과 신체표현 능력의 효과 검증

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 외국인학생들에게 한글춤 교육프로그램을 적용하여 학생들의 자모지식과 신체 표현능력에 어떠한 효과가 나타났는지를 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구 는 7세-10세의 50명을 대상으로 12차시동안 한글춤 교육프로그램을 주 3회 4주간 적용하였다. 연구도구는 자모지식, 실기 수행 능력 평가, 학생들의 수업 소감문, 체 육교사의 개방형 질문지, 한국어교사의 면담, 비디오와 사진 자료를 수집하여 서술 통계와 내용분석, 빈도분석 그리고 귀납적 분석을 하였고, 삼각검증을 통해 자료의 진실성을 확보하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 자모의 읽기능력은 평균 81.33점으로 나타났 으며, 자음(80.43%)에 비해 모음(82.6%)의 이해도가 조금 높게 나타났다. 쓰기능력 은 98.6%의 학생들이 이름을 정확하게 쓸 줄 알았고, 2명을 제외한 99.6% 모두 국적 을 정확하게 썼다. 둘째, 한글자모의 정확한 신체 표현은 평균 75점으로 가장 높았 고, 창의적인 한글자모의 움직임 연결 67.5점, 정형화된 자모의 움직임 연결 62.5점, 창의적인 한글자모의 신체표현 60점 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 한글춤 교육프로그램은 학습의 난이도 측면에서 easy(쉽다)하다, 수업에 대한 평가는 fun(재미있다), 수업을 통해 느낀 감정은 good(좋다)이 가장 많이 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to verify the effects of the Hangeul dance education program on foreign students’ knowledge of the Korean alphabet and their ability to make physical expressions. The Hangeul dance program was applied for 50 students aged from seven to ten years over 12 classes, three classes a week for four weeks. For the study, students’ knowledge of the Korean alphabet, assessment of their abilities in practical skills, their feelings about lessons, physical education teachers’open questionnaires, Korean language teachers’ interviews, video sand photos were collected. After this, a descriptive statistical analysis, a content analysis, a frequency analysis and an inductive analysis were executed utilizing the data collected, and then the authority of data was secured through triangulation. The outcomes of the study are as follows. First, those students’ ability to read the Korean alphabet was 81.33 points on average. About 82.6% of the students understood vowels, a little higher than the 80.43% who understood consonants. Regarding writing, about 98.6% of the students could write their names correctly and 99.6%(excluding two students) wrote their nationalities accurately. Second, accurate physical expression of the Korean alphabet was 75 points on average, the highest, followed by 67.5points for creative Korean alphabet movements, 62.5points for standardized connection of Korean alphabet movements and 60points for creative physical expression of the Korean alphabet. Third, regarding the degree of difficulty of learning in the Hangeul dance education program, the largest portion of the students felt lessons were easy, fun and good.
