예비보육교사의 다짐으로 본 보육교사상에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 예비교사들이 생각하는 이상적인 보육교사상과 그 유형을 알아 보는데 있다. 이를 위해 대전에 거주하는 예비보육교사 195명을 대상으로 ‘어떠한 보육교사가 될 것인지’ 다짐하는 진술문을 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 은유분석을 바탕으로 5차에 걸쳐 범주화작업을 거쳤으며, 최종 183개의 다짐문이 2개의 상위요 인, 5개의 중위요인, 27개의 하위요인으로 나누어졌다. 연구결과 인성을 강조하는 다 짐문은 영유아를 대하는 일반적 마음가짐인 개인적 인성과 교사로서의 철학 및 교 육관을 반영하는 교사로서의 인성이 있었다. 또, 전문성을 강조하는 다짐문은 교사 로서의 노력과 성장의지, 영유아의 성장과 발달도모, 소통과 협력으로 분류되었다. 본 연구를 통해 예비보육교사들이 내면에 지니고 있는 교사로서의 가치관을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 이를 토대로 보육교사 양성기관에서는 다양한 관점을 지닌 예비교사들의 개별성을 인정하고, 올바른 인성과 전문성을 갖춘 교사로 성장할 수 있도록 지원하 는 방안을 수립하길 기대해본다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study is to explore the ideal image of childcare teachers considered by pre-service teachers. Targeting 195 pre-service childcare teachers in Daejeon, the resolution statement about what kind of childcare teacher I would be was collected. The collected data categorized and quantified based on the systematic metaphor analysis by five times. Total 183 resolution statement were divided into two main themes, 5 middle themes, and 27 sub themes. In the result, the resolution statement emphasizing personality included the personal character and also the teacher character as attitude toward children. Also the resolution statements emphasizing professionalism were classified into teacher s effort, growth will, promotion of children s growth and development, and communication & cooperation. Through this study, the pre-service childcare teachers internal values could be examined. Based on the results, it is expected that the training institute of childcare teachers recognize the individuality of each pre-service teacher with various viewpoints and also establish the measures to support their growth into equipped with upright personality and professionalism.
