국문 초록

본 연구에서는 중학교『사회』교과서에 실린 탐구 과제에 나타난 특성을 정보활 용과정의 관점에서 권호별, 출판사별, 교과 영역별로 구분하여 분석하였다. 분석 결 과, 중학교『사회』교과서에서 정보활용과정이 강조되지 않고 있으며, 과제 가운데 일부는 탐구의 본래적 의미를 충족시키지 못하는 것들도 있었다. 또한 교과서에 나 타난 정보활용과정이 권호별, 출판사별, 교과 영역별로 유의미한 차이가 있음도 확 인하였다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 탐구의 본래적 의미에 충실한 탐구 과제 구 성과 학습자 스스로 과제를 해결할 수 있도록 정보활용과정 요소를 충분히 반영해 야 하며, 출판사간․교과 영역 간 편차를 줄이기 위한 노력이 필요함을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The study explored characteristics of information literacy process for inquire tasks in middle school『social studies』textbooks. The the analysis results are as follows: firstly, the inquire tasks in the textbooks did not emphasize the information literacy process; secondly, not every inquire meets the essential meaning of research in itself; thirdly, significant differences in information literacy process existed by issue, publishing company, and subject area of the textbooks. The study suggested three solutions based on the analyzed results: firstly, middle school textbooks should consist of inquire tasks faithful in the essential meaning of inquire; secondly, the textbooks should provide the specific and sufficient elements for information literacy process which enable learners to perform a task for themselves; thirdly, the textbooks require more effort to reduce differences in information literacy process by publishing company and subject area.
