국문 초록

이 논문은 신라(BC 57～AD 935) 시대의 민족철학인 풍류도에 관한 연구를 한 논문이다. 한국인들의 근면성과 성실성, 자연질서의 존중, 충효, 선행의 실천 등이 풍류도에서 비롯되었음을 밝히고자 하였다. 유불선의 조화론을 주장하는 최치원이 말하는 풍류도는 무언.무위의 가르침 즉 자연의 질서인 순리를 따르는 것과 현실에 대한 적극적 태도인 호국사상인 나라를 사랑하는 충성심과 부모를 공경하는 효를 실천하고, 선한 행위를 하여 대중교화를 하는 것이다. 겸손한 자세로 타인과 우주만물을 공경하고 사랑하고 조화를 이루라는 민족고유의 철학인 한철학을 의미한다. 서구적인 인간중심이 점차 자기중심주의에 빠지고, 끊임없는 갈등을 조장하므로 동양의 우리 내지 우주중심주의와 하늘을 우러러 보는 경천사상, 순리를 따르고 겸손하라는 가르침, 노장사상인 무위자연, 불교의 무아사상을 깨달아야 자연과 인간이 조화를 이루고 우주와 자기가 조화되는 자유로 갈 수 있다. 나아가 민족주체 철학인 한철학 즉 풍류도로 조선민주주의 인민공화국의 김일성 주체사상을 타파하고 대망의 민족대통합을 이루도록 대한국민과 정부는 노력해야 한다.

영문 초록

I began this study by looking at the Pung Ryu philosophy of the late Silla and Han philosophy. Soon I realized that it would be valuable to concentrate on Choi Chi-won's unified philosophy of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. Choi worked for political reformation that would lead to a new social order. Order sorely needed to calm the political turmoil of the 8th year of Queen Jinsung's region(AD 894). Choi political ideology had a definitive effect on the establishment of a Korean confucian nation. He aimed to establish a moral society based on the order that would arise from the establishment of a confucian political system, which would base the king's power on his virtue and restraint. His endeavor towards this goal were thoroughly Confucianist, and his championing of Confucianism should receive more recognition as a turning point in Korean history, in that he continually pursued the establishment of Confucianism at a time when Buddhism and Taoism entrenched. Choi himself strove to approach the archetype of a good Silla citizen through Pung Ryu Do(風流道), which was the practical application of the philosophy that he always kept to a high intellectual standard. He wanted Pung Ryu Do to become the basis for governmental policy. His books were a crystallization of history, intending to imbue the people with a strong national consciousness and pride in their culture.
