행복과 신뢰가 낙관성과 의사결정에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 행복과 신뢰가 낙관성과 의사결정에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 대전/세종/충남에 거주하는 10대부터 60대까지 511명을 대상으로 행복, 신뢰, 낙관성, 및 의사결정 척도를 포함한 질문지를 구성하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SAS 9.4를 이용하여 사용된 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도를 알아보고, 행복과 신뢰에 따른 낙관성과 의사결정의 차이를 이원분산분석을 통하여 검토하였다. 연구결과에 의하면, 첫째, 사용된 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도가 우수하였다. 둘째, 행복한 사람들이 그렇지 않은 사람들보다 더 낙관적이었다. 셋째, 신뢰가 높은 사람들이 신뢰가 낮은 사람들보다 더 낙관적이었다. 넷째, 낙관성에 대한 행복과 신뢰의 상호작용효과를 확인하였다. 다섯째, 행복한 사람들이 그렇지 않은 사람들보다 더 합리적인 경향을 보였지만, 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 여섯째, 신뢰가 높은 사람들은 신뢰가 낮은 사람들보다 더 합리적인 선택을 하였다. 마지막으로, 합리적 의사결정유형에서 행복과 신뢰의 상호작용효과를 확인하였다. 이런 연구결과는 사람들의 행복과 신뢰를 높이는 것이 그들을 보다 낙관적으로 생각하게 만들고 보다 나은 의사결정을 내리도록 하는데 효과적인 방안임을 보여주는 것이다. 끝으로, 연구의 제한점과 앞으로의 연구방향을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore effects of happiness and trust on optimism and decision-making. Questionnaire including happiness, trust, optimism, and decision-making scales was organized to collect data from 511 people, ranging from teenagers to 60s living in Daejeon/Sejong/Chungnam. The collected data were reviewed to determine the reliability and validity of the scales used and two-way ANOVA conducted to examine differences in optimism and decision-making according to happiness and trust using SAS 9.4,. As the results of the study, firstly, the reliability and validity of the scales used were excellent. Second, happy people tended to be more optimistic than unhappy people. Third, high trust people tended to be more optimistic than low trust people. Fourth, the interaction effect of happiness and trust on optimism was identified. Fifth, happy people tended to be more optimistic than unhappy people but was not significant. Sixth, high trust people tended to choose more rational than low trust people. Finally, the interaction effect of happiness and trust was identified in the rational decision type. These findings show that raising happiness and trust of people is an effective way to make people more optimistic and make better decisions. Finally, the limitations of the study and the future direction of the study were discussed.
