국문 초록

공동주택은 현대사회에서 가장 보편화된 주거 유형으로서 공동체의 의미를 함유하고 있다. 하지만 현대사회에서 개인주의가 확대됨에 따라 공동주택의 공동체에 대한 의미는 점차 퇴색되어가고 있다. 이러한 문제를 사회적인 측면으로만 국한시키는 것이 아니라 공동주택의 공간적인 측면에서도 고려해 볼 필요가 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 선행연구와 답사를 통하여 공동주택 커뮤니티 공간에 대한 문제점이 접근성, 연계성, 다양성 등에 있음을 지적하고, 동시에 자유로운 동선, 모호한 경계, 개별화, 탈 중심화의 특성을 가지는 리좀의 특성을 적용한 사례를 분석하여 리좀이 커뮤니티 공간을 창출하는데 용이하고 거주민들의 소통의 기회를 증대시킴으로서 앞서 말한 문제점들을 해결하고 공동체의 의미를 되찾을 수 있는 적합한 수단임을 제안하고자 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 리좀의 특성을 적용한 공동주택 설계에 대한 방향성과 기대효과에 대하여 추가 연구의 필요성을 인식시키고, 추후 참고 자료로서의 의의를 가진다.

영문 초록

Apartments house is the most common type of housing in modern society, and it contains the meaning of community. However, as individualism is expanded in modern society, the meaning of the community of apartments is gradually diminishing. It is necessary to consider not only the social issues but also the spatial aspects of apartment complexes. In this study, we pointed out that the problems of community space in apartment complexes are related to accessibility, connectivity and diversity through previous studies and explorations. At the same time, we applied characteristic for Rhizome of free - flowing lines, ambiguous boundaries, individualization, Decentration, on analyzing the case. Characteristic for Rhizome we propose that it is a suitable means to solve the problems mentioned above and to recover the meaning of the community by facilitating the creation of the community space and increasing the communication opportunities of residents. Therefore, this study recognizes the necessity of additional research on the direction and expectation effect of the design of apartment house applying the Rhizome characteristics and has significance as a reference material in the future.
