영유아교사 자질에 대한 교사·학부모 인식과 대인관계능력 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 교사와 학부모가 영유아교사의 자질에 대한 인식과 교사의 대인관계능력을 분석하고자 하였다. 연구의 대상은 영유아 교육기관(어린이집 및 유치원)에 근무하고 있는 215명의 선생님과 어린이집·유치원에 원아를 보내고 있는 240명의 학부모 대상으로 하였다. 연구방법으로는 교차분석과 차이검정(t-test), 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사의 일반적 특성에 따라 영유아교사의 자질에 대한 선생님의 인식은 대부분의 변인에서 차이가 없었지만, 교사의 전문적지식과 교수기술에서 집단 간 유의한 차이를 보였다. 또한 전공에 따른 교사의 자질에 대한 인식은 아동학 및 사회복지학 전공자가 유아교육학 전공자 보다 인성에 대해 더 중요하게 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 학부모의 일반적 특성에 따라 영유아교사의 자질에 대한 학부모의 인식은 대부분의 변인에서 차이가 없었지만, 태도에서 유의한 차이를 보였고, 남아보다 여아에서 더 높은 점수를 보였다. 이는 학부모들이 자녀가 남아일 때 보다 여아일 때 교사의 교직태도에 대해서 더 민감하게 여기고 있음을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 교사와 학부모의 인성, 지식, 기술, 태도의 차이 분석 결과 인성에서 교사와 학부모 간의 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 교사가 학부모보다 점수가 더 높았다. 이는 학부모보다 교사들이 영유아교사들이 갖추어야 할 자질 중 인성 측면을 중요하다고 인식하고 있음을 의미한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the perception of teachers and parents about the quality and human relationdhip skill of infant education teachers. The subjects were 215 teachers and 240 parents of Early Childhood institutions(Nursery Center and Kindergarten). Research method was performed to analyze the cross-black difference (t-test), regression analysis. The results of this study were summarized as follows. 영유아교사의 자질에 대한 선생님의 인식First, the teachers’ perceptions about quality of Early Childhood Teacher were not any differences in most variables. But in the professional knowledge and teaching skills of teachers showed significant differences between the groups. In addition, at the recognition of the qualifications of teachers according to the majors, who majored Children and Social Welfare Studies awared of the importance of humanity than the Early Childhood Education majors. Second, at the awareness of parents about the quality of infant teacher, there were not any differences in most variables. But high scores in teaching attitudes were showed in girls than boys. Significant differences in teaching attitudes could be seen that parents are more sensitive to the attitude of the teachers attitude when children are girls than boys. The difference between teachers and parents about teacher quality analysis, showed a significant difference in personality between teachers and parents, and teachers have a higher score than parents. This means that the teachers are aware that it is important to humanity than the parents. Third, there was a significant difference between teachers in personality and interpersonal skill. As a result of the post-test, 4 year college graduates teachers were higher than 2~3 year college graduates teachers. It is analyzed that the perception of personality and interpersonal skill was high because of one year long academic year and the number of related subjects.
