국문 초록

이 논문은 욕망과 환상을 성찰하기 위한 영상 제작 교육의 방안 및 의의를 정신분석학적으로 논증하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 자본주의 미디어는 타자의 욕망을 욕망하는 것을 촉진시키고 그것이 환상과 이데올로기로 고착되는 것에 복무한다. 현대인은 이 이데올로기에 호명된 주체로서 대타자의 ‘케 보이’에 왜곡된 답으로서의 삶을 살아간다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 악순환에 문제를 제기하는 교육이 필요하다 판단하고, 그 방안으로 정신분석학을 방법론으로 한 영상 제작 교육을 제기하였다. 욕망과 환상에 대한 성찰은 욕망을 발생시키는 ‘시선’과 그 시선에 대한 ‘응시’의 분열을 인지함으로써 시작될 수 있다. 홍상수·박찬욱·이창동·봉준호의 영화에서도 실재계적 응시를 환기시키는 탈봉합적인 영상언어가 발견된다. 이 논문에서는 이들 영화에서 응시가 암시되는 지점을 추출하여 교육적으로 재서술하였다. 그리고 이 방안을 실제 수업에 적용하여 영상 제작 교육의 가능성과 의의를 논증하였다. 이 연구를 통해 응시를 환기시키는 영상 제작은 시선의 주체로 군림하면서도 끊임없이 소외되는 현대인을 성찰케 하고 자본주의 상징계적 욕망과 환상 또한 통찰하는 경험의 장이 됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 소셜미디어 영상이 대타자의 시선이 되는 시대에 응시가 환기되는 영상을 만들어 봄으로써 소셜미디어 영상에 대해서도 비판적 관점을 견지하고 대타자의 욕망에서 분리되는 주체화의 선순환을 시작할 수 있으리라 기대한다.

영문 초록

The goal of this paper was to provide a psychoanalytical argument for the method and significance of video production education to reflect on desires and fantasies. Capitalist media promotes the desire of others and serves to solidify it as fantasy and ideology. Modern people, as subjects called by this ideology, live their lives as a distorted answer to the ‘Che vuoi?’ of the Other. It was determined that education was needed to address this vicious cycle, and in this paper, video production education using psychoanalysis as a methodology was proposed as a solution. Reflection on desire and fantasy can begin by recognizing the division between the ‘look’ that generates desire and the ‘gaze’ for that ‘look’. In the films of Hong Sang-soo, Park Chan-wook, Lee Chang-dong, and Bong Joon-ho, a desutural visual language that evokes a gaze on the Real is found. In this paper, the points where gaze is implied in these films were extracted and re-described in an educational manner. And this method was applied to actual classes to demonstrate the possibility and significance of video production education. Through this study, it was confirmed that video production that evokes the gaze serves as a place of experience for reflecting on modern people who reign as subjects of the look but are constantly alienated, and also for insight into the desires and fantasies of the Symbolic of capitalism. In an era where social media videos become the gaze of the Other, we hope that by creating videos that evoke gaze, we will be able to maintain a critical perspective on social media videos and begin a virtuous cycle of subjectivation that is separated from the desires of the Other.
