인지적 도제학습 기반 미디어 리터러시 교육 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 인지적 도제 이론에 기초한 미디어 리터러시 교육을 진행하고 교육적 효과를 알아보는 것이다.본 연구는 한국어 교육에서 미디어 리터러시 교육이 필요함을 전제로 하며, 인지적 도제학습 방법을 통한 미디어 리터러시 교육이 진행될 때교육적 효과가 높을 것으로 보았다. 이를 위하여 미디어 리터러시 교육을 위한 수업을구성하고 과제를 설정한 후 이를 바탕으로 미디어 리터러시 교육을 시행하였다. 해당교육은 2년 동안 진행되었으며 실험에 참여한 학습자는 총 102명이다. 본 연구에서설정한 교육 내용을 바탕으로 수업을 진행하였고, 사전 사후 검증 결과 ‘학습자의 어휘 사용 능력’, ‘읽기 독해 능력’, ‘글쓰기에 대한 자신감’, ‘글쓰기에 대한 효능감’에서 학업 성취도와 학습 태도에 교육적 효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 사후에 진행한학습자의 만족도 역시 높았으며 학습자가 제출한 소감문에서도 긍정적이고 의미있는 교육적 효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to conduct media literacy education based on the theory of cognitive apprenticeship and to find out the educational effects. This study presupposes that media literacy education is necessary in Korean language education. Media literacy education through the cognitive apprenticeship learning method is expected to have high educational effects. First, classes for media literacy education were organized and tasks were set. And media literacy education was implemented. Media literacy education was conducted for two years, and a total of 102 learners participated in the experiment. Classes were conducted based on the educational content set in this study. As a result of the learner’s pre-post verification, it was confirmed that there is an educational effect in ‘learner’s vocabulary use ability’, ‘reading comprehension ability’, ‘confidence in writing’, and ‘efficacy in writing’. The satisfaction of the learners was high, and the educational effect was confirmed in the learning testimonials.
