중학생의 생활시간 사용과 부모양육태도, 정서행동문제 간 관계에 대한 종단 연구

국문 초록

목적 이 연구는 시간의 흐름에 따른 중학생의 생활시간 사용과 부모양육태도, 정서행동문제 간 관계를 파악하고자 한다. 방법 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원의 한국 아동⋅청소년 데이터 아카이브에 포함된 KCYPS 2010 패널조사 중 초등학교 4학년생 코호트의 제4차, 5차, 6차(2013년~2015년, 중1~중3) 자료를 활용하였고, 중학생의 생활시간이라는 변인의 시간에 따른 변화 형태를 추정하고 변화 사이의 관련성을 검증하기 위해 잠재성장모형(Latent Growth Modeling)으로 분석하였다. 또한 중학생의 생활시간 사용에 나타나는 차이를 검증하기 위해 부모양육태도와 정서행동 문제를 영향요인으로 설정하고 모형 간의 관련성을 검증하는 다변량 잠재성장 모형을 적용하였다. 결과 연구결과에서는 중학생의 학업시간과 여가시간은 시간의 변화에 따른 선형적 변화가 나타났으며 부모의 과잉기대가 클수록 중학생의 학업시간은 더 늘어났으며, 학년이 올라가면서 학업시간은 더 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 중학생의 정서행동 문제(공격성, 위축)는 여가시간이 줄어들수록 증가하지만, 학업시간 증가에는 영향을 받지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이 연구는 이 연구결과를 바탕으로 중학생이 생활시간을 균형있게 사용할 수 있도록 하는데 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between middle school students' life time use, parenting attitudes, and emotional behavioral problems over time. Methods For this purpose, the KCYPS 2010 panel survey data of the 4th grade cohort of elementary school were used which included in the Korean Children and Youth Data Archive of the Korea Youth Policy. Also, Latent Growth Modeling was adopted to estimate the change in the variable of middle school students' life time over time and to verify the relationship between the changes. In details, in order to verify the difference in the life time use of middle school students, parenting attitudes and emotional behavior problems were set as influencing factors, and a multivariate potential growth model was applied to verify the relationship between the models. Results The study results showed that middle school students' study time and leisure time showed linear changes according to the change of time. In addition, the higher the parents' overexpectation, the longer the middle school students' study hours, and the higher the grade, the higher the study hours. In addition, middle school students' emotional behavioral problems (aggression, withdrawal) increased as leisure time decreased, but they were not affected by increased study time. Conclusions Through this study, the relationship that exists between changes in variables beyond simply verifying the relationship between variables were verified It could concluded that the results of this study could serve as basic data necessary for middle school students to use their life time in a balanced way.
