텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 2015 개정 교육과정이 적용된 초등 영어교육 학술지 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 2015 개정 교육과정이 적용된 초등영어교육 관련 연구를 텍스트 마이닝 분석 방법을 적용하여 텍스트를 분석하고 대표할 수 있는 주제들을 선정하여 연구의 동향을 살피고 그 함의점을 찾는 것이다. 방법 2018년부터 2021년 6월까지 발표된 관련 논문 447편을 선정하여 영문 초록과 제목으로 R을 활용하여 텍스트 마이닝 분석을 하였다. 먼저 데이터를 수집하고 전처리 과정을 통하여 데이터를 정제하였다. 이후 빈도분석을 통해 핵심어를 추출하여 특징을 살펴보았다. 또 LDA를 활용해 토픽 모델링을 실시하여 텍스트를 대표할 수 있는 주제들을 선정하고 언어네트워크 분석을 통하여 주제의 적절성을 살펴보았다. 결과 먼저 빈도분석을 통해 핵심어를 선정하였다. 이후 LDA 모델을 활용한 토픽 모델링과 언어네트워크 분석을 통해서 연구를 대표하는 13개의 주제를 선정하였다. ‘영어 학습의 정의적 요인학습’, ‘교사 및 예비교사 역량 강화’, ‘스토리텔링 기반 교육’, ‘쓰기 지도 전략’, ‘어휘학습 전략’, ‘문화 지도’, ‘교사 및 예비교사의 인식’, ‘교육과정 및 성취 기준 관련 연구’, ‘학생과 교사의 상호작용’, ‘문학 활용 교육’, ‘읽기 지도’, ‘학습자 중심 교수’가 이에 해당한다. 결론 본 연구를 통해 2015 개정 교육과정이 적용된 초등영어교육 학술지의 핵심어와 연구 주제를 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 지금까지 진행된 연구의 흐름을 살피고 교육과정이 적절하게 반영되었는지 분석하여 앞으로 진행될 연구의 방향에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the trends of the study and find implications by applying text mining analysis methods to research related to elementary English education to which the 2015 revised curriculum is applied. Methods 447 related papers published from 2018 to June 2021 were selected and text mining analysis was conducted using R as the English abstract and title. First, data was collected and data was purified through a preprocessing process. After that, key words were extracted through frequency analysis and the characteristics were examined. In addition, topics that can represent text were selected by performing topic modeling using LDA, and the appropriateness of the subject was examined through language network analysis. Results First, key words were selected through frequency analysis. After that, 13 topics representing the study were selected through topic modeling and language network analysis using the LDA model. These include ‘Affective Factor of English Learning’, ‘Teacher and Pre-Teacher Competency Enhancement’, ‘Storytelling-based Education’, ‘Writing Learning Strategy’, ‘Vocabulary Learning Strategy’, ‘Teaching Culture’, ‘Teachers and Pre-Teachers Perception’, ‘Curriculum and Achievement Standards’, ‘Literature-based Learning’, ‘Reading Learning Strategy’, ‘Learner-centered Instrcution’. Conclusions Through this study, the keywords and research topics of the 2015 revised curriculum applied elementary English education journal were examined. Through this, the flow of research conducted so far was examined and the curriculum was properly reflected to provide implications for the direction of future research.
