팬데믹 상황에서 유아교사들이 바라본 유아의 유치원 적응 과정

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 팬데믹 상황에서 유치원 교사들이 바라본 유아의 유치원 적응 과정에서 나타나는 개인과 환경 간의 상호성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 방법 유치원에서 유아들의 적응 과정을 가장 가까이에서 바라볼 수 있는 공립유치원 담임교사 6명을 연구참여자로 선정하여 심층면담을 실시하고 포괄적 분석 절차를 기반으로 자료분석이 이루어졌다. 결과 주요 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 갑작스럽게 찾아온 팬데믹으로 인해 유아들은 낯선 하루일과와 제한된 교육환경으로 혼란스러워했으나 이러한 과정에서 맞이한 신학기임에도 불구하고 교실 공간을 재구성해 나갔다. 둘째, 팬데믹 상황에서 유아들은 유치원에서 관계 맺음을 경험하면서 우리 반 친구들을 찾는 모습과 원격수업 교실에서 하루일과를 보내며 교사 및 친구들과 상호작용하는 모습을 보였다. 셋째, 팬데믹 상황에서 유아들은 스스로 새롭게 만든 교실 속 규칙을 통해 생활 속 거리두기와 마스크와 한 몸이 된 생활습관을 실천하고 있었다. 결론 팬데믹 상황에서 유아들이 겪고 있는 현실을 탐색함으로써 유아들의 적응 과정에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 교육적 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, we wanted th examine the interactions between individuals and the environment in the process of adapting to young children viewed by kindergarten teachers in a Pandemic situation. Methods To this end, teachers who can see the adaptation process of young children closest to each other were selected as research participants, conducted qualitative interviews, and analyzed data based on comprehensive analysis procedures. Results The results of the main study are as follows: First, unfamiliar daily routines and limited environments caused confusion for young children, and in this process, young children were shown to reconstruct limited spaces. Second, under the conditions of pandemice, young children are experiencing a relationship, looking for ‘my classmates’ and spending a day in a new remote classroom. He was seen interacting with teachers and friends. Third, through the rules in the classroom that arose in the Pandemic situation, young children experienced ‘distancing in their lives’ and inving habits that became one with masks. Conclusions Based on these results, we discussed the understanding and implications of the young children’s adaptation process by introducing the reality that young children are experiencing in a Pandemic situation.
