코로나19로 실시한 온라인 수업 경험에 대한 질적 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 코로나19로 인해 실시된 초등학교 고학년 학생들의 온라인 학습의 경험을 살펴보고 향후 온라인 수업의 학습방향을 찾기 위한 것이다. 방법 본 연구를 위해 경기도 소재의 연구 참가자 10명을 모집하였고, 부모와 참가자의 동의를 얻어 인터뷰를 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 전사한 자료는 Colaizzi의 현상학적 연구 방법 5단계의 과정을 통해 분석하여 122개의 개념, 24개의 하위 범주, 7개의 상위 범주를 도출하였다. 결과 연구 결과는 첫째, 온라인 수업 참가자들이 좋아하는 수업 방식은 짧은 수업, 이해할 수 있는 수업이었다. 둘째, 온라인 수업에서 얻는 유익함으로는 배움 노트, 노력하는 모습, 학습결과였다. 셋째, 온라인 수업의 학습 환경은 편한 수업, 적응된 수업, 성적 보충이었다. 넷째, 학습 불편감은 수업불만, 과중한 숙제, 부정인식이었다. 다섯째, 성적 부진 이유는 이해 부족, 낮은 집중력, 불성실한 태도, 흥미 잃음이었다. 여섯째, 생활의 변화는 친구 교류, SNS상의 친구, 부모와의 관계, 게임시간 증가, 불규칙한 생활, 건강악화였다. 일곱째, 학교 수업을 선호하는 이유는 함께하는 수업, 효과적인 수업, 신체활동 수업으로 나타났다. 결론 연구 결과를 토대로 초등 고학년 학생들의 온라인 수업의 경험에 따른 개선 방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study is to examine the online learning experiences of senior elementary school students conducted due to COVID-19, and to find the learning direction of online classes in the future. Methods For this study, 10 study participants located in Gyeonggi-do were recruited, and data were collected through interviews with the consent of parents and participants. The transcribed data were analyzed through the five-step process of Colaizzi s phenomenological research method, and 122 concepts, 24 subcategories, and 7 supercategories were derived. Results The results of the study are as follows: First, the online class participants favorite teaching methods were short classes and understandable classes. Second, the benefits of online classes were learning notes, effort, and learning outcomes. Third, the learning environment of online class was comfortable class, adapted class, and grade supplement. Fourth, learning discomfort was class complaints, heavy homework, and negative perception. Fifth, the reasons for poor grades were lack of understanding, low concentration, insincerity, and loss of interest. Sixth, the changes in life were friends exchange, social media friends, relationship with parents, increase in game time, irregular life, and deterioration in health. Seventh, the reasons for preferring school classes were together classes, effective classes, and physical activity classes. Conclusions Based on the research results, improvement measures were suggested according to the online class experience of elementary and upper grade students.
