간호대학생의 간호전문직관에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 간호전문직관에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 실시한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료수집은 2018년 10월 15일부터 12월 15일까지 P지역의 P대학 간호학과 학생들을 임의 추출하여 106명을 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, pearson correlation coefficient와 단계적 선형 회귀분석을 하였다. 연구결과는 간호전문직관은 학업적 자기효능감(r=.423, p<.001), 비판적사고 성향(r=.277, p<.001), 문제해결능력(r=.405, p<.001)과 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 회귀분석 결과 간호대학생의 간호전문직관에 영향을 주는 요인은 학업적 자기효능감과 주관적 건강상태로 나타났으며, 설명력은 24.7%이었다(F=18.213. p<.001). 간호대학생의 간호전문직관에 영향을 미치는 학업적 자기효능감을 높이기 위한 방안으로는 간호대학 교육현장에서 학습자의 수준에 맞는 학습목표 설정과 학습성과에 대한 평가, 적절한 피드백, 교수자의 역량 강화, 교수법의 개선, 다양한 멘토링 프로그램 도입 등이 적절하게 이루어졌으면 한다. 한편 학업적 자기효능감과 주관적 건강상태 향상을 위한 프로그램 개발 및 운영으로 학년별 간호전문직관의 변화와 졸업 후 3년 이내 간호전문직관의 변화를 알아보는 후속연구를 제언하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to determine factors that can influence to develop nursing professionalism in nursing students. Data were collected from October 15th to December 15th, 2018, from 106 randomly sampled students at the department of nursing at P university in P region. The SPSS WIN 23.0 program was used to analyze the data by conducting a t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The results showed nursing professionalism has positive correlations with the following factors: 1) academic self-efficacy (r = 0.423, p < 0.001); 2) critical thinking skills (r = 0.277, p < 0.001), and 3) problem-solving skills (r = 0.405, p < 0.001). The regression analysis showed that academic self-efficacy and self-reported health status had a positive impact on nursing students’ nursing professionalism; the descriptive power showed 24.7% (F = 18.213. p < 0.001). According to the results of this study, nursing students need to establish individualized-academic goals to build their nursing professionalism. Nursing professors need to upgrade their teaching strategies and various mentoring programs to provide personalized feedback based on the students’ level. Future research regarding nursing students’ nursing professionalism should examine the following questions: 1) how to develop a mentoring program that focuses on academic self-efficacy and self-reported health status among nursing students; 2) how nursing students develop their nursing professionalism through the monitoring program; 3) how new graduate nurses change their nursing professionalism within three years, and 3) which factors can influence nursing professionalism’s versatility among novice nurses.
