청소년의 통합 창의성 구성변인과 학업성취 발달 궤적 간의 관계 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 서울교육종단연구(Seoul Education Longitudinal Study: SELS)의 2010년부터 매년 실시한 중학교 1학년 패널인 1차~4차년도(2010년~2013년) 4개년 학생자료를 활용하여, 청소년들의 학년이 올라감에 따라 학업성취(국, 수)의 변화양상을 살펴보고, 창의성(1차년도)의 하위요인인 창의적 능력, 창의적 동기, 창의적 태도와의 관련성을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 청소년의 학업성취(국, 수)는 선형으로 변화하는 것으로 나타났으며 이러한 결과는 개인차가 있었다. 둘째, 청소년의 학업성취(국, 수) 발달궤적에는 창의성의 하위요인인 능력, 동기, 태도 중에서 창의적 능력과 태도가 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 즉, 청소년은 창의적 능력이 높고 창의적 태도가 긍정적일수록 학업성취도(국, 수) 변화양상과 관련성이 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 통해 청소년의 학업성취도 향상에 창의성의 하위요인 중 창의적 능력과 태도가 중요한 요인이 될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 청소년의 성별에 따른 다집단분석 결과, 남학생과 여학생의 성취도 발달궤적과 예측요인들의 영향력은 모두 다르게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로, 정책적 함의는 청소년의 학업성취도 향상을 위해 학교와 환경과 교사의 특성과 성별이 어떠한 측면에서 고려되어야 할지 알게 되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 시사점 및 논의를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study uses the longitudinal data from 2010 (1st grade in middle school) to 2014 (1st grade in high school) of the Seoul Education Longitudinal Study (SELS). As their grades increase, the changes in the academic achievement(Korean, Math) were examined and relating to creative ability, creative motivation, and creative attitude, which are sub- factors of creativity (1st year), was confirmed. As a result of this study, First, the academic achievement(Korean, Math) of adolescents was found to change linearly, and there were individual differences. Second, traces of academic achievement(Korean, Math) development were showed that ability and attitude had a significant impact among abilities, motivations, and attitudes, which are sub-factors of creativity, that is, it was confirmed that the higher the creative ability and the more positive the creative attitude, the more related to the change in academic achievement(Korean, Math). Through these results, it was found that creative abilities and attitudes can be important factors among the sub-factors of creativity to improve the academic achievement of adolescents. Third, as a result of multi-group analysis according to the gender of adolescents, the traces of academic achievement and the influence of predictive factors of male and female students were all different. Based on these results, the policy implications were found in what aspects of the school, environment, and the characteristics and gender of teachers should be considered in order to improve the academic achievement of adolescents. Finally, This study suggested implications and discussions based on the results.
