대학생의 경제적 스트레스가 진로포부에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 경제적 스트레스와 진로포부의 관계에서 진로결정자기효능감과 결과기대의 매개효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 수도권 및 충남지역 대학에 재학 중인 대학생 184명을 표집하여 경제적 스트레스, 진로결정자기효능감, 결과기대, 진로포부에 관한 설문을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석한 결과, 대학생의 경제적 스트레스는 진로결정자기효능감과 진로포부간에는 유의한 상관관계가 나타났으나 결과기대와는 유의한 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다. 진로결정자기효능감과 결과기대는 진로포부와 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 그리고 경제적 스트레스와 진로포부간에서 진로결정자기효능감은 유의한 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 확인되었으나 결과기대는 유의한 매개효과를 보이지 않았다. 결과적으로 경제적 스트레스와 진로포부간에서 진로결정자기효능감이 매개하는 역할을 하고 있는 분석을 확인되었다. 이러한 연구의 결과를 토대로 시사점, 한계 및 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediation effect of university students’ career self-efficacy and outcome expectation on the relationships between their financial stress and career aspiration. This analysis is utilized with data from 184 students from universities in metropolitan and Chungnam area. The questionnaires designed to measure financial stress, career self-efficacy, outcome expectation and career aspiration. Financial stress showed a meaningful correlation with career self-efficacy and career aspiration but not with outcome expectation. Career self-efficacy and outcome expectation showed a positive meaningful correlation with career aspiration. Furthermore, the mediation effects of career self-efficacy were significant in the relationship between their financial stress and career aspiration. But the mediation effects of career outcome expectation weren t significant in the relationship between their financial stress and career aspiration. Based on these findings, implications, limitations and directions for future research about career counseling for university students are discussed.
