심미적 경험으로서의 도덕 수업 형성 방안 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 도덕 수업이 추구하고 구현해야 할 중요한 지점으로 심미적 경험에 주목하고자 한다. 도덕 수업은 인격의 총체적인 변화를 목적으로 한다. 이는 삶과 수업이 긴밀하게 이어질 때 가능하며 정서와 의미로 충만해야 한다. 존 듀이는 이를 심미 적 경험으로 바라본다. 도덕 수업이 심미적 경험으로 이어지기 위해서는 첫째, 교사와 학생, 학생과 학생 사이에 진정한 만남이 이루어져야 한다. 둘째, 내러티브 중심으로 교재가 재구성될 필요가 있다. 셋째, 수업 과정이 유연해져야 한다. 넷째, 질 높 은 대화 중심의 수업이 이루어져야 한다. 다섯째, 다차원적 사고가 강조되어야 한다. 여섯째, 철학적 접근이 이루어져야 한다. 도덕 수업을 하나의 삶이자 경험, 예술로써 바라볼 때 수업의 질적 성장은 이루어질 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The current study focuses on aesthetic experience as an important aspect that moral class must seek to teach and instill in students. The objective of moral class is to enable an overall change in the students’ character, which is made possible when what is taught in the classroom is closely linked to real life. Furthermore, such a class must be filled with emotional and meaningful instructions, which John Dewey viewed as an aesthetic experience. The first thing required to link ethics class to aesthetic experience is an authentic relationship between teachers and students, as well as that among students themselves. Second, textbooks must be reconfigured to focus on narratives. Third, classroom processes must become more flexible. Fourth, high-quality classes centered around discussions must take place. Fifth, students must be encouraged to engage in multidimensional thinking. Sixth, classes must take a philosophical approach. In the end, classes will be able to truly grow qualitatively when they are seen as an experience, art form, and part of life.
