국문 초록

포스트휴먼이란 4차 산업혁명이 초래하는 과학기술의 발전으로 인간과 기계(기 술)이 융합되어 그 경계가 사라진 미래의 인간상을 일컫는 말이다. 본 연구의 목적은 포스트휴먼 시대의 현상과 특징을 살펴보고 이에 대비한 미술교육의 내용과 방향을 탐구해보는데 있다. 이를 위해 우선 포스트휴먼 시대의 현상과 특징을 4차 산업혁명과 관련지어 살펴보고, 이에 대한 교육적 논의를 검토한다. 이어서 포스트휴먼 문제를 다루는 미술 작품을 찾아 적절한 교육 내용을 고안해본다. 이는 기존 미술교육에서 포함하지 않는 새로운 내용을 도입하며 전개되는 포스트휴먼 미술교육 고안의 좋은 사례가 될 수 있을 것이다. 이를 토대로 포스트휴먼을 위한 미술교육의 방향을 디지털 감수성과 변화하는 세계, 자신에 대한 지각 능력의 향상, 포스트휴먼의 주체에 대한 인문학적 사고를 형성, 융복합의 산업과 문화 현상에 대한 이해와 창의 융합적인 사고의 형성, 새로운 디지털 도구로 소통하고 창작하는 능력의 형성 으로 종합한다. 구체적인 교육 내용을 고안해보는 후속 연구를 통해 포스트 휴먼 시대의 미술교육의 방향, 그 가치와 비전에 대한 논의가 더욱 체계화되기를 제언한다.

영문 초록

Posthuman refers to the future image of the human being in which human and machine(technology) are fused and their boundary has disappeared with the development of science and technology brought about by the fourth industrial revolution. How should art education for posthuman state be changed? This study examined the phenomenon and the characteristics of the posthuman age in relation to the fourth industrial revolution, followed by discussions on education in preparation for the era. I searched the art works that address the posthuman state, developed educational contents, and based on this, I derived the direction of art education for the future as follows. First, art education should emphasize emotional and sensibility education, especially digital sensibility, the perception of the changing world and self. Second, art education should foster humanistic understanding about the posthuman subject. Third, art education should develop a creative recognition of the fusion of the industrial and the cultural phenomena that results from the blurred boundaries in the academic fields. Fourth, art education should build the ability to communicate and create using new digital tools.
