국문 초록

<단군신화>의 화자는 주체와 객체가 독자성을 지니되 대등하고 내밀하다고 여긴다. 주체와 객체를 화동관계로 여기는 이런 시각을 대칭적 세계관이라 부를 수 있다. 대칭적 세계관의 원인자가 無邊無中의 원리이므로, 무변무중의 원리가 대칭적 세계관의 소이연이다. 후대 단군전승에 이르면 대칭적 세계관이 두 축을 통해 변이한다. 제왕운기류?실향민?안창덕 구술담과 응제시주류?황명희?김종태 구술담이 그것이다. <단군신화>에 비추어 볼 때, 변이의 진폭은 ‘신화적 요소를 내포한 단군전승’이 훨씬 넓다. 진폭의 넓이가 곧 의의를 지칭하지 않는다. 무변무중의 원리가 대칭적 세계관의 근거가 되고, 문명적 세계관을 대칭적 세계관에 집어넣어 다루고, 인물층위를 폭넓게 활용해서 변이의 진폭을 확장할 때 의의를 지닐 수 있다.

영문 초록

The speaker of the Dangun Myth believes that the subject and the object have their respective independence and are equal and private. Such a perspective of finding harmonious and unifying relations between the subject and the object can be called a symmetrical world view. The causer of a symmetrical world view is the principle of no edge and no center, which is thus the fundamental ground for a symmetrical world view. In the transmission of Dangun by the future generations, the symmetrical world view changed along two axes, which include the oral stories of Jewangwoongi line, displaced people, and Ahn Chang-deok and those of Woongjeshiju line, Hwang Myeong-hee, and Kim Jong-tae. Given the Dangun Myth, the amplitude of changes is much wider in the “transmission of Dangun containing mythological elements.” The width of amplitude does not necessarily refer to significance. One can claim significance by making the principle of no edge and no center the ground for a symmetrical world view, putting the civilization world view in a symmetrical world view and dealing with it, and expanding the amplitude of changes by making broad use of layers of characters.
