국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 스마트폰 중독에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하여 대학생의 스마트폰 중독 해결을 위한 기초자료를 마련하고자 한다. B시 소재 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 남녀 대학생 300명을 대상으로, 일반적 특성, 스마트폰 중독, 생활스트레스, 대학생활 적응을 2016년 5월 1개월 동안 설문조사하여 자료는 빈도분석, 교차분석, t-test, χ2-test, 회귀분석하였다. 연구결과는 스마트폰 중독은 학업성적, 다빈도 사용 스마트폰 기능에 따라 차이가 있었으며, 스마트폰 중독 분류에 따른 생활스트레 스는 고위험 사용자, 잠재적 위험 사용자, 일반 사용자의 순으로 높았다. 생활스트레스 및 대학생활 적응이 스마트폰 중독에 미치는 영향은 생활스트레스가 스마트폰 중독에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 대학생의 올바른 스마트폰 사용 및 생활스트레스 관리에 대한 중재 프로그램 개발을 제안한다.

영문 초록

To contribute to knowledge on smartphone addiction of college students, our study investigated the factors effecting smartphone addiction. A self-report instrument was used to measure general characteristics, smartphone addiction, stress about campus life, and college life adaptation. A total of 300 respondents filled out the questionnaires from May 31 to May 1, 2016. Case with invalid responses to trap question were removed from data set and analyzed through frequencies, the Chi-squared test, t-test, and multiple regression. The results showed that smartphone addiction was different by academic performance and one’s favorite function of smartphone, and stress about campus life by smartphone addiction was high on the high risk, potential risk, and normal group of smartphone addiction. For stress about campus life and college life adaptation, only stress about campus life affected smartphone addiction. Therefore, intervention programs must be developed and implemented to guide correct smartphone use and reduce stress of college students.
