초등 체육교과 내용 교수 지식(PCK) 습득을 위한 실행연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 연구자가 강의하고 있는 ‘초등체육과교재연구 및 지도법’을 2014년부터 2017년 1학기까지 수강한 예비교사들을 대상으로 체육 내용 교수 지식(PCK)이 어떠한 과정 속에서 습득되는지를 알아보기 위해 실행연구로 진행되었다. 이를 위해 연 구자는 15주 30차시로 이루어지는 강의 내용을 체육 내용 교수 지식(PCK)의 하위요소를 습득할 수 있도록 재조직하였으며, 이를 통해 다음과 같은 연구결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 수업 참여 학생들은 초등학교에서 체육을 가르쳐야 하는 이유를 체육의 가 치를 실현하는 것으로 인식하였으며, 체육 수업에서 체육의 가치를 통합적으로 적용하려는 경향을 보였다. 둘째, 수업 참여 학생들은 교과용 도서에 제시되어 있는 내용을 그대로 가르치는 것이 아니라 교육내용을 새롭게 조직하여 가르치려는 모습을 보 였다. 셋째, 수업 참여 학생들은 좋은 수업의 전략 측면에서 체육수업모형의 적용 타당성을 찾았다. 넷째, 수업 참여 학생들은 학생의 실태를 수업에 반영하기 위해 수준별 수업을 적용하였다. 다섯째, 수업 참여 학생들은 학생중심 평가를 지향하고 있었 다. 여섯째, 수업 참여 학생들은 스포츠강사와의 협력을 통해 수업 상황의 환경적인 어려움을 극복하였다. 연구과정에서 팀원과의 협의 과정을 통해 당면한 문제를 해결해 가는 모습은 다양한 예비교사교육 상황에 적용할 수 있고, 나아가 현직교사교육 에서도 협력을 기반으로 하는 교사공동체가 활성화될 필요성이 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to enhance pedagogical content knowledge in elementary physical education and was conducted using a class. The instructional design for teaching physical activities and pedagogy was from the year, 2014 to the first semester in 2017 and was used to instruct students in the researcher’s class. For this purpose, the researcher re-constructed the lecture content within a time frame of 30hours over 15 weeks, allowing students to acquire sub-elements. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, students who took this class recognized the purpose of physical education at elementary school as being about the realization of its value and they tended to its value integrally. Secondly, they taught seemed to teacher-constructed content.. Thirdly, students tried to verify the validity of the model of PE class from the perspective of favorable class strategy. students overcame challenges from classroom environments with the cooperation with sports instructors. Consultation for problem-solving strategies in the research process can be applied to pre-service teacher education in various situations. This study suggests the teacher community needs to be invigorated based on the cooperation of in-service teacher education.
