국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 지적장애학생의 성격특성에 따라 성격유형을 분석하고, 그에 따른 배경변인에 대해 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 이에 성격검사지는 2017년 6월 5일부터 7월 4일에 걸쳐 본 연구자가 담임교사에게 직접 배부․회수 하였다. 연구대상은 부산․경남 소재 특수학교 및 특수학급에 재학 중인 초․중․고등학교 지적장애학생 300명이다. 이들에게 담임교사가 EZPQ 성격검사를 수행하였다. 이후 군집분석을 통해 성격유형을 분류하고, 그에 따른 배경변인에 대해 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다 음과 같다. 지적장애학생의 성격유형은 3가지로 분류되었다. 첫 번째 유형은 외부지향성과 긍정적 반응경향, 부정적 반응경향이 높은 유형이다. 모두 특수학교 재학 중, 대다수 경도 지적장애, 평균연령 16.5세로 중학교 3학년에서 고등학교 1학년이다. 두번째 유형은 효능동기와 성공기대가 높은 유형이다. 대다수 특수학교 재학 중, 경도지적장애, 평균나이 14.3세로 중학교 1학년이다. 세 번째 유형은 효능동기가 낮은 유형이다. 대다수 특수학교 재학 중, 중도 지적장애, 평균나이 14.7세로 중학교 1∼2학년이다. 이로써 지적장애학생의 성격특성에 따른 성격유형과 그에 대한 배경변인이 밝혀짐으로써 향후 지적장애학생에게 적합하고 유용한 교육적 접근과 중재 개발에 대한 기초자료를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyzing personality types according to the personality characteristics of students with intellectual disabilities and examining each variable accordingly. Therefore, the researcher distributed and collected the personality test report directly to the homeroom teacher from June 5 to July 4, 2017. The subjects of the study are 300 students with intellectual disabilities in elementary, middle and high schools attending special schools and special classes in Busan and Gyeongnam. The EZPQ personality tests were conducted on them, and personality types were classified through cluster analysis, and each variable was analyzed accordingly. The results of the study were as follows: The types of personality types of students with intellectual disabilities were classified into three categories. The first type is outerdirectedness, positive response tendency, and negative response tendency. All intellectual disabilities students are attending special schools. The average age is 16.5 years. The second type is the type with the highest motivation and high expectation of success. Most of them are in special schools. Most of them are 14.3 years old and 1st grade in middle school. The third type is a type with low efficacy motivation. Most of them are enrolled in special schools. The average age is 14.7 years. As a result, personality types and variables related to personality characteristics of students with intellectual disabilities are revealed, and it is expected that they will be able to provide positive and useful educational approaches and basic data on intervention development.
