학령기 경계선 지적기능 아동의 언어 및 읽기 능력

국문 초록

본 연구는 학령기 경계선 지적 기능(BIF) 아동의 언어 및 읽기 능력이 평균 지능 아동과 비교해 어떠한 차이가 있는지 살펴보고, 경계선 지적 기능 아동을 판별해주는 요인이 무엇인지 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구의 대상은 초등학생 총 100명으로 경계선 지적 기능 집단(50명)과 평균 지능 집단(50명)으로 분류하였다. 본 연구의 자료수집을 위해 2016년 9월-11월까지 P시 소재 초등학교 및 지역아동센터에 협조문을 발송하여 연구 참여 동의서를 확보하였고, 자료수집은 2016년 12월– 2017년 8월까지 이루어졌다. 본 연구 결과, 경계선 지적 기능 아동과 평균 지능 아동 간 언어 능력에서 상위개념 이해 및 표현, 동의어 표현, 반의어 표현, 구문이해, 비유문장 이해, 문법 오류 판단 및 수정, 복문 산출, 단락듣기 이해에서 집단 간 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 읽기능력에서는 단어인지, 읽기 유창성, 읽기 이해에 서 집단 간 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 마지막으로 판별분석 결과, 두 집단을 판별해 주는 언어 및 읽기 요인으로 단락듣기이해, 읽기이해, 상위어표현이 도출되었으며, 분류 정확도는 전체 77.0% 로 나타났다. 이에 연구에 대한 논의와 제언을 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences in the language and reading ability of borderline intellectual function(BIF) children compared with the average intelligence children and to identify the factors that distinguish children with BIF. The subjects of this study are 50 elementary school students with BIF and 50 elementary school students with average intelligence. In order to select the research subjects, intelligence evaluation was carried out at first. And then, Language Scale for School-aged Children and Test of Reading Achievement were carried out to measure the language ability and reading ability of the children with BIF and average intelligence. As a result of this study, it was found that there is a difference in language ability between children with BIF and children with average intelligence. There was a significant difference between groups in understanding and expression of upper concept, synonym expression, antonyms expression, understanding of syntax, comprehension of analogy sentence, grammar error judgment and correction, complex sentence expression, paragraph listening comprehension. In reading ability, there was a significant difference between the groups in word recognition, reading fluency, and reading comprehension. Finally, as a result of the discriminant analysis, reading comprehension, paragraph listening comprehension, and expression of upper concept were derived as the language and reading factors that discriminated the two groups, and the classification accuracy was 77.0%. Therefore, I discussed and suggested the study.
