‘좋은 수업’에 대한 예비중등교사와 현직중등교사의 인식 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 좋은 수업의 특성, 방해요인, 지원방안에 대한 예비중등교사와 현직중등교사의 인식 차이를 분석하는데 목적을 두고 광주지역에 소재한 C대학교 사범대학 2~4학년 178명, 교육대학원에 재학 중인 현직교사 135명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 대학생은 2017년 5월 15~19일, 교육대학원생은 7월 19~21일에 걸쳐 설문조사를 수행하였다. 수집된 설문 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용 및 분석하여 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 좋은 수업의 특성은 교사가 효율적인 수업자료를 준비하고 일상생활과 관련되고 고차원적 사고개발에 필요한 교육내용으로 구성하고 교사와 학생 간에 신뢰하고 존중해 주는 민주적인 분위기 속에서 학생들의 사고를 확장하고 평가하는 수업으로 인식하였다. 둘째, 좋은 수업의 방해요인으로 학급 및 학생수준에 맞는 교육과정 재구성의 어려움, 수업활동 형태에 따른 교수전략 전개능력 부족, 학급당 많은 학생 수, 교사 중심의 일방적인 평가 등이 높게 인식되었다. 셋째, 좋은 수업의 지원 방안으로 교수자료 지원 관리 시스템 구축, 교사 신뢰와 지지 풍토 구축, 수업 컨설팅 의무화 및 활성화 등을 높게 인식되었다. 좋은 수업은 교육의 질과 직접 관련성이 있기 때문에 학교현장에 좋은 수업을 정착할 수 있는 분위기와 풍토가 조성되어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study was intended to analyze a difference in pre-service and in-service secondary-school teachers’ understanding of characteristics of good teaching, disturbing factor and support plan. And 178 sophomores~seniors at college of education and 135 in-service teachers enrolled in the graduate school, C university located in Gwangju city area were selected as research participants. And undergraduates have been surveyed from 15 May 2017 to 19 May 2017, and graduate students in the department of education from 19 July 2017 to 21 July 2017. The collected survey data were analyzed by using SPSS program. And the following results of study were produced. First, the characteristics of good teaching were understood as teaching where teacher prepared efficient instruction materials, which was composed of education contents related with everyday life and needed for the development of high-level thinking skills, which extended and assessed students’ thinking in democratic atmosphere where teacher and student trusted and respected each other. Second, with regard to disturbing factor in good teaching, a high score was given to difficulty in reframing curriculum suitable for class and student’s level, the lack of ability to develop the teaching strategy according to classroom activity type, a large number of students per class, teacher-centered unidirectional assessment and the like in their understanding. Third, with regard to the support plan for good teaching, a high score was given to building a teaching material support and management system, creating a climate to trust and support teachers, making consulting on teaching mandatory and invigorating it and the like in their understanding. Good teaching is directly related to quality of education. Therefore, an atmosphere and climate where good teaching can take root in school should be created.
