누리과정 및 생활주제 간 연계 방안 탐색 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 문서체계상으로나 활용상 분리된 측면이 있다고 지적받아온 누리과정과 교사용 지도서 생활주제를 서로 연계 짓는 방안에 대해 탐구하였다. 우선, 누리과정과 생활주제 각각의 구조를 파악하였고 이후 누리과정과 생활주제 중 무엇에 더 중점을 두고 서로를 연계시킬 것인가라는 연계방안을 탐구하였다. 연계방안은 누리과정을 상위에 두고 생활주제를 하위에 둔 후 이들을 서로 연계하는 하향식(Top-down) 연계방식과 반대로, 생활주제를 중심으로 누리과정을 연계하는 상향식(Bottom-up) 연계방식이 가능할 것으로 보였다. 그리고 마지막으로, 누리과정과 생활주제를 상하의 문제가 아니라 좌우의 문제로 보고 이들을 횡적으로 연계하는 병렬식(Parallel) 연계방식이 가능할 것으로 판단되었다. 그리고 하향식 연계방식에는 Tyler의 합리적 교육과정 개발 모형, 상향식 연계방식에는 특정한 모형보다는 생활주제중심교육, 병렬식 연계방식에는 Taba의 단원개발 모형이 배경 또는 근거가 되는 모형으로 적합한 것으로 파악되었다. 이후 유아교육 현장에 권장하거나 추후 개발될 새 유아교육과정에 적용할 지침들을 탐색적으로 추출하였다. 본 연구는 후속적으로 이루어질 현장교사의 연계방안 실제 적용 및 검증 사례연구 등 실증연구를 위한 기초자료로서의 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

In this study, we investigated the ways of linking the topics of the Nuri-Curriculum and the teachers’ guidebooks which have been pointed out to have separate aspects in terms of the document system and application. First, we investigated the structure of Nuri-Curriculum and life theme. Afterwards, we researched which one to put emphasis on between the Nuri-Curriculum and life theme, and ways to link them with each other. For the linkage plan, two kinds seemed possible: the top-down linkage method that puts Nuri-Curriculum on top and life theme at the bottom before linking them to each other, or the bottom-up linkage method that puts life theme at the center then links the Nuri-Curriculum. Lastly, it was concluded that it would be possible to use a parallel linkage method of linking Nuri-Curriculum and life theme by seeing it as a left-and-right problem rather than an up-and-down problem. In addition, it was found that Tyler’s rational curriculum development model for the top-down linkage method, current life theme-oriented education rather than specific model for the bottom-up linkage method, and Taba’s unit development model for that parallel linking method were models that were suitable as the background or basis. Each background model was then directly applied to the Nuri-Curriculum and the life theme. In this process, the guidelines to be applied to the new curriculums to be developed or recommended for early childhood education were explored. In this study, the method of linking the Nuri-Curriculum and life theme was logically approached through the application of theories. This is meaningful as a basic data for empirical studies in the future for the practical application and verification of linkage methods and case studies for field teachers.
