국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 ‘수업 시간에 쫓겨남’이라는 독특한 사건이 그 당사자인 학생들에게 어떻게 의미화 되는지 살펴보고, 이를 통해 ‘수업’과 ‘교실’에 작용하는 지향성을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해 나는 ‘수요 글쓰기’ 시간을 이용해 학생들에게 이 사건과 관련하여 글을 쓰게 하였고, 당시의 생각과 느낌을 비교적 자세하게 밝혀 썼다고 생각되는 다섯 아이들의 글을 자료로 삼아 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 학생들은 ‘수업 시간에 쫓겨남’이라는 사건에 대하여 ‘갈등의 이중성’, ‘참을 수 없는 존재의 가벼움’, ‘쳇바퀴’ 등 크게 세 가지 의미를 부여하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이를 면밀히 분석한 결과, 학생들은 ‘수업’과 ‘교실’에 대해 ‘구조적’, ‘주체적’, ‘공간적’ 지향성을 가지고 있음을 알게 되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 나는 나 자신의 교사로서의 태도를 성찰하였다. 그 결과 당시 나를 지배한 감정은 ‘화’임을 알게 되었으며, 그 ‘화’의 의미를 해석해 가면서 교사로서 내가 가져야 할 삶의 자세에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

There are two things which I want to illuminate from this article as the purposes of this study: to recognize the meaning of ‘being kicked out form a class’ to students who experienced the incident, and to figure out the intentionality acting upon the ‘class’ and ‘classroom’ of the students. For these, I made the students write a paper related to that situation during ‘Wednesday writing activity time’. Among the papers, I chose five which were well-described the feeling and the thought about that moment to analyze them. As a result ot this precess, I came to gather 3 things from those papers which the students had attached to the incident: ‘the duality of conflict’, ‘the unbearable lightness of being’, and ‘the treadmill’. Further, I could find there is the intentionality which they had about ‘the class’ and ‘the classroom’: ‘the structural’, ‘subjective’, and ‘spatial’ intentionality. Based on the results, I tried to reflect on my attitude as a teacher and had enlightenment: the emotion which had dominated me at the incident was ‘anger’! Thus, interpreting the meaning of the ‘anger’, I will arrive at a conclusion what I want to discuss this article about the attitude which a teacher should prepare.
