성찰활동 유형이 예비유아교사의 학업적응 및 학업성취에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 교직수업에서의 성찰활동의 교육적 효과를 규명하고, 성찰활동 유형에 따른 교육적 차이를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이에 교직수업에 성찰활동을 적용하여 운영하였으며, 수업에 참여한 예비유아교사 90명을 대상으로 성찰일지 유형에 따른 학업적응 및 학업성취의 차이를 분석하였다. 사전검사결과를 공변량으로 하여 공분산분석(ANCOVA)을 사용하여 분석한 결과, 성찰일지를 작성한 집단이 성찰활동이 없는 집단보다 학업에 더 잘 적응하였으며, 개별 성찰일지를 작성한 집단보다 협력성찰일지를 작성한 집단의 학업적응 점수가 더 높았다. 또한 학업성취를 시험점수와 과제수행 점수로 나누어 살펴본 결과, 시험점수에 있어서는 성찰활동을 한 두 집단이 성찰활동이 없는 집단 보다 높은 점수를 보여주었고, 과제수행 점수에서는 협력 성찰활동 집단이 가장 높은 성취를 보였고, 그 다음이 개별 성찰활동 집단, 그리고 성찰활동이 없는 집단이 가장 낮은 순이었다. 즉, 본 연구결과에서는 성찰일지작성과 동료 간 상호작용이 있는 협력 성찰활동이 예비유아교사들의 학업적응 및 학업성취에 긍정적인 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect on academic adjustment and academic achievement according to the type of reflection. 90 pre-service early childhood teachers participated in this study. This study was conducted to compare the effects of three groups using a pre-test and post test. The first group didn’t write reflective journal, the second group wrote individual reflective journal and the third group wrote collaborative reflective journal. pre-service early childhood teachers of experimental groups participated reflective activity for 15 weeks and academic adjustment tests and academic achievement tests were taken. Analysis of covariance(ANCOVA) was conducted to analyze on academic adjustment and academic achievement according to the type of reflection. The results of this study showed that after reflective activity completed, academic adjustment and academic achievement of the reflective activity group was higher than that of control group. Academic adjustment and academic achievement of three group showed statistically significant difference. Students in a group of a collaborative reflection showed highest academic achievement and control group’s academic achievement was lowest. These result indicate that collaborative reflection can positive affect academic adjustment academic achievement for prospective early childhood teachers. This study suggested that methods of reflective journal writing should be diversified for better reflective activity.
