문학 창작 영재의 판별 가능성 연구

국문 초록

영재를 정의하거나 판별할 때에 영재성이라는 것은 선천적인 것일 수도 있고 후천적인 것일 수도 있으며, 어떤 영재성에 더 중점을 두느냐에 따라 영재 판별 방법은 달라진다. 그러나 국어 성적이 우수한 학생을 추천받아 또다시 지필평가를 통해 문학 창작 영재를 판별하는 현재의 방법으로는, 잠재능력이나 고유성을 지닌 영재를 판별해 내지 못할 가능성이 크다. 또한 현재의 영재 판별 과정을 통해 선발된 학생들 대부분은 문학 창작 영재로서의 비전에 대해서 회의적이며, 후속 교육을 받지 못하고 있다. 현재의 문학 창작 영재 판별 방법으로는 문학 창작 영재의 지속적 발전 가능성을 예측할 수 없다.현재 우리나라의 문학 창작 영재에 관한 연구는 매우 기초적인 수준에 머물러 있으며, 국내 논문으로는 참고할 만한 논문이 거의 없다. 또한 지금까지의 모든 연구들은 초등학생과 중학생을 대상으로 한 연구이며, 고등학생을 대상으로 한 연구는 전무하다. 교육은 개인의 성장을 도모하는 일이며, 개인이 가지고 있는 잠재력을 최대한 계발하는 것을 그 목표로 한다. 문학 창작 영재도 이점에서 예외가 아니며, 이들에게도 개인의 뛰어난 자질과 재능을 발전시킬 수 있는 기회와 환경이 주어져야 한다. 이번 연구는 선행 연구들을 바탕으로 일반계 고등학교에서 문학 창작 영재의 판별 가능성과 그 지속성에 관해 연구한 결과물이다. 그 검증까지는 충분히 이루지 못하였지만, 연구를 통해 문학 창작 영재의 발견과 성장 가능성에 대해 긍정적인 성과를 거두었으며, 이는 이후 문학 창작 영재 교육에 시사점을 줄 수 있을 것이라 본다.

영문 초록

When we try to discern the giftedness of a student it may be meant both gifted and acquired talent and the method may be differ in discerning talented students depending on to which side weight is to be placed. However, the current method, to discern gifted creative writers among the students putting into a paper and pencil evaluation again after being recommended as qualified students in the subject of national language, may have possibility of not being able to identify gifted students having its potential capacity or uniqueness. Also most of those students qualified based on the current method have a doubt to their vision as being a talented student of creative writer with lack of subsequent proper education. It may be noted that the forecast appears to be doubtable regarding possibility of sustained growth of the creative writers based on current identification method of it. At present, domestic research on talented creative writer still remained in the rudimentary stage and there is few local articles in this respect to be referred to. Also, most of researches in this regard have been implemented against elementary school students or middle school students and none of such report could be found for high school students so far. Education is intended to the growth of individual student and aimed to develop individual potentials as much as possible. It may be no exception to the talented students of creative writers, as such opportunities and environment has to be provided for them as well in developing their outstanding talent and uniqueness. This study is the result of the research on the possibility to discern a talented creative writer in the academic high school based on preceded researches. Full verification in this regard has not been implemented yet properly so far; however, through this research certain positive progress has been obtained on the possibility regarding identification and growth possibility of gifted creative writers which may provide certain meaning to the education of the gifted creative writers.
