국문 초록

본 연구에서는 수학 교과 역량을 교과서가 어떻게 반영하고 있는지 살펴보기 위해 중학교 학년별 5종의 교과서를 분석하여 역량의 명시된 횟수와 과제수를 확인하고 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학년이 올라가면서 수학 교과 역량 과제의 수는 감소하는 추세였다. 둘째, 가장 많이 명시된 수학 교과 역량은 1학년은 의사소통 역량, 2, 3학년은 문제해결 역량이었다. 셋째, 수학 교과 역량 과제가 가장 많은 단원은 1학년이 Ⅰ단원, 2학년이 Ⅳ단원, 3학년이 Ⅱ단원이었다. 학년과 단원에 따라 수학 교과 역량을 다루는 정도에 차이가 있으며, 고학년일수록 수학 교과 역량 과제가 상대적으로 적음을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

In this thesis, we analyze tasks of mathematics core competencies to see how textbooks present the mathematics core competencies. To this end, we select 5 textbooks for each grades of middle school to analyze the number of tasks and the number of competencies. The results are as follow. First, as the grade level increased, tasks of mathematics core competencies continued to decrease. Second, the most frequently presented mathematics core competencies by grade was communication competency in the first year, problem-solving competency in the second and third years. Third, the unit with the highest number of count of tasks of mathematics core competencies by grade were unit Ⅰ in 1st grade, unit Ⅳ in 2nd grade, and unit Ⅱ in 3rd grade. In summary, there is a difference about handling of mathematics core competencies according to grade level and unit. And the high grades have relatively few mathematics core competencies tasks. Through this, it was intended to provide basic data necessary to develop teaching and learning materials related to mathematics core competencies.
