지혜학교 사례분석을 통한 독서교육 발전방안

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 독서교육을 주된 교육방법으로 활용하는 대안학교인 지혜학교 사례분석을 통해 독서교육의 발전방안을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위해 지혜학교 교원 3명과 학생 9명을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 실시하였다. 인터뷰내용은 전사 후 질적 방법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 지혜학교에서 다음과 같은 특징을 발견했다. 첫째, 교육과정은 필수와 선택과목 구성, 무학년제 가능, 교사와 학생의 수평적 관계, 진로활동 중점, 학폭발생 시 학교 셧다운의 특징을 보였다. 둘째, 교육목표는 인문학적 사유능력 함양을 필두로 독서는 생각할 수 있는 힘을 키우는 도구이며, 자기해석을 바탕으로 한 자기언어획득이 궁극적 목표이었다. 또한 독서의 자율성, 내적동기 신장, 또래집단과의 협력에서 일반학교와 차이를 보였으며 이는 일상적 독서문화를 지향하는 것으로 연결된다. 셋째, 교육방법은 독서세미나를 주된 방법으로 진행하며 교사와 학생 간 협의를 통한 선택수업 선정, 개별학생 맞춤형, 유비쿼터스적 독서환경, 묵학, 자유로운 질문, 지속적 교사연수 실시의 특징을 보였다. 넷째, 교육평가에서 개인은 형성평가, 자기평가, 에세이를 통한 총괄평가를 진행하고 개인평가를 보충해서 학생들끼리 공유평가 실시, 지혜의 날을 통한 축제로서의 평가의 특징을 보였다. 다섯째, 교육효과는 입시가 아닌 진짜공부, 언어순화, 바른 인성함양, 지적인 이성흠모, 대학은 필수가 아닌 선택이었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to derive a plan for the development of reading education through the case analysis of Jihye School, an alternative school that uses reading education as the main educational method. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted with three teachers and nine students from Jihye School. The interview contents were analyzed in a qualitative method after transcription. As a result of the study, the following characteristics were found in Jihye School. First, the curriculum showed the characteristics of composition of essential and optional subjects, the possibility of a no-grade system, the horizontal relationship between teachers and students, the focus on career activities, and the school shutdown in the event of school violence. Second, the educational goal was to develop the power to think, led by cultivating humanities' thinking ability, and the ultimate goal was to acquire self-language based on self-interpretation. In addition, there was a difference from general schools in reading autonomy, internal motivation enhancement, and cooperation with peer groups, which leads to the aim of a daily reading culture. Third, the educational method conducted the reading seminar as the main method, and showed characteristics of selecting optional classes through consultation between teachers and students, customized individual students, ubiquitous reading environment, learning in the midst of silence, free questions, and continuous teacher training. Fourth, in the educational evaluation, individuals conducted general evaluation through formation evaluation, self-evaluation, and essays, and supplemented individual evaluation to conduct shared evaluation among students, and evaluation as a festival through Wisdom Day. Fifth, the educational effect was not entrance examination, but real study, language purification, cultivation of good character, the pursuit of other intelligent sex with great knowledge and university were not essential but choices.
