토큰 경제 중재가 장애인과 비장애인의 표적 행동 변화에 미치는 효과에 관한 양적 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 토큰 경제 중재가 장애인과 비장애인의 표적 행동 변화에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위해 국내의 토큰 경제 관련 중재 연구를 수합하고 그 현황과 각 연구에 나타난 효과 크기를 분석한 연구로서, 먼저, 문헌 검토를 통해 토큰 경제의 효과성에 관한 국외 메타분석 연구들을 리뷰하였고, 다음으로 토큰 경제에 관한 국내 연구들을 수집하여 연구의 특성 및 효과크기를 알아보았다. 연구 결과, 국외 토큰 경제 기법에 관한 메타분석 연구는 모두 4편이 발견되었고 그 중 3편에서 중간 정도의 효과크기가 있다고 하여 토큰 경제 기법의 효과는 유의미하다고 하였다. 둘째, 토큰 경제에 관한 국내 중재 연구들을 양적으로 분석한 결과, 국내에서 이루어진 토큰 경제 중재 연구는 모두 10편이었고, 국내에서는 1990년대 이후에 관련 연구가 나타나다가 2010년대 이후로는 관련 연구를 찾아보기 어려웠다. 이러한 연구 발표 시기 외에도 학술지 유형, 연구 대상의 장애 유무 및 연령, 종속변인의 유형, 및 연구설계에 따라 분석하였고, 개별 연구들의 효과크기를 알아보았다. 결론적으로, 토큰 경제 중재는 장애인과 비장애인들의 학습 관련 행동 및 기타 행동 문제를 변화시킬 수 있는 유용한 방법으로서 추천될 수 있으나, 과학적이고 질 높은 집단 실험 또는 단일대상연구를 통하여 근거기반중재로서의 효과성 확인을 필요로 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of token economic intervention on the change of target behaviors of the disabled and the non – disabled. First, we reviewed foreign meta - analysis studies on the effectiveness of the token economy through review of literature. Next, we collected domestic studies on token economy and examined the characteristics and effect size of the study. As a result of the study, four meta - analytic studies on foreign token economy techniques were found, and the effect of token economy technique was significant because three of them had moderate effect sizes. Second, as a result of quantitative analysis of domestic intervention studies on token economy, there were 10 domestic tokens intervention studies conducted in Korea, and there have been related studies since 1990 in Korea and there have been no studies since 2010. In addition to the time of the study announcement, the research was analyzed according to the type of the journal, the disability of the research subjects, the age, the type of dependent variables, and the research design. and the effect sizes of individual studies were examined. In conclusion, token economic intervention can be recommended as a useful way to change the learning behavior and other behavioral problems of people with and without disabilities. However, in order to verify effectiveness as evidence-based intervention, Scientific quality group and single subject research should be conducted.
