국문 초록

본 연구는 숲유치원에서 근무하고 있는 교사의 경험을 통해 실질적인 고충과 어려움을 살펴보고 의미를 찾아 숲유치원 운영 활성화에 도움을 주고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 연구 참여자인 숲유치원 교사 6인의 심층면담을 실시하였다. 진술된 내용은 모두 녹음 되어 전사하였고, 의미 있는 내용을 구성하기 위하여 연구방법인 Colaizzi의 현상학적 방법으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 12개의 주제에서 6개의 주제군을 추출하였고, 최종적으로 2개의 범주가 추출되었다. ‘숲활동에 대한 고민과 시련’, ‘업무에 대한 부담감’, ‘숲지식의 부족함’, ‘안전에 대한 불안감’의 주제군에서 ‘괴로움’의 범주가 추출되었고, ‘숲이 주는 가치와 행복감’, ‘숲과 함께 커가는 교사’의 주제군에서는 ‘보람’에 대한 범주가 추출되었다. 이는 숲유치원의 교사들이 경험하는 숲활동에 대한 심리적 현상을 통해 교사들이 숲활동에 대한 고충과 어려움으로 부담스럽지만 끊임없이 발생하는 고민의 해답을 찾기 위해 최선을 다하고 있었으며 그 속에서 보람을 찾는 교사의 마음을 발견할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the practical problems and difficulties through the experience of the teachers working in forest kindergarten and to help the activation of forest kindergarten by finding meaning. For this, we conducted in-depth interviews with six forest kindergarten teachers who were study participants. All the statements were recorded and transcribed and analyzed by Colaizzi s phenomenological method to construct meaningful contents. As a result, 6 themes were extracted from 12 theme clusters and finally two categories were extracted. The categories of suffering were extracted from the theme clusters of anxieties and trials about forest activities , burdens on work , lack of knowledge on forests and anxiety about safety . In the theme clusters of value and happiness in the forest and teacher who grows with forest , the category of worth was extracted. We investigated the psychological phenomenon of the forest activity that the forest kindergarten teachers experienced. Through this, Forest kindergarten teachers were burdened by difficulties in forest activities, but they were doing their best to find the answers to the problems that were constantly occurring.
