국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 1인가구의 사회안전인식이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 규명하고, 이 과정에서사회적 자본(사회적 소통, 연대감, 포용감)의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 본 연구의 대상자는 2014년도 대전시 사회조사자료 중 1인 가구 1,283명이었으며, 분석자료는 SPSS 21.0 통계패키지를 사용하여다중회귀분석과 Baron & Kenny(1986)의 3단계 매개회귀분석을 실시하였다. 사회적 자본의 매개경로통계적 유의성은 Sobel Test를 통해 검증하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 1인가구의 사회안전인식이 높을수록 삶의 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 1인 가구의 사회안전인식과 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 사회적 자본(사회적 소통, 연대감, 포용감)은 부분매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사회적 자본의 통계적 유의성을 검증하기 위해 Sobel Test 결과, 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타나 사회안전인식과 삶의 만족도 관계에서 사회적 자본은 매개효과를 갖는 것으로 검증되었다. 이러한 결과는 1인 가구의 삶의 만족도를 향상하기 위해서는 사회안전인식과 함께 사회적 자본의 향상 방안에대한 모색을 동시에 고려할 필요가 있음을 보여준다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of perceived social safety on the life satisfaction among one-person households and to verify the mediated effects of social capital(social communication, solidarity, and inclusion) in the process. The subject were 1,283 people in one-person households out of the social survey data of Daejeon City in 2014, and the data were analyzed by multiple regression and 3-steps regression analysis of Baron & Kenny(1986) using the SPSS 21.0. Statistical significance of the intermediary route of social capital was verified by the Sobel Test. The analysis results are as follows: First, the higher the perceived social safety among one-person households, the higher the life satisfaction. Second, social capital(social communication, solidarity and inclusion) has a partial mediation effects in relationship between perceived social safety and life satisfaction among one-person households. In addition, to verify the statistical significance of social capital, the results of the Sobel Test show statistically significant and it has been verified that social capital has a mediated effect between perceived social safety and life satisfaction. These results show that in order to improve the life satisfaction among one-person households, it is necessary to consider and improve both perceived social safety and social capital.
