개인특성, 가정 및 학교환경 변인이 고등학생의 진로적응력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 고등학생의 진로적응력 예측요인을 탐색하기 위해 개인특성(자아존중감, 사회적 위축, 우울, 학업열의, 협동심), 가정환경(부모의 양육태도), 학교환경(친구관계, 교사와의 관계)의 영향 정도를 탐색하였다. 방법 이를 위해 한국아동·청소년패널조사 2018(Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018) 고등학교 자료 중 남학생 1,213명, 여학생 1,041명을 활용하였으며, 여러 개의 독립변수가 종속변수에 미치는 상대적 영향력의 크기를 단계별로 파악하는 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고등학생의 진로적응력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학업열의와 자아존중감, 비일관적인 양육태도, 사회적 위축과 우울, 친구관계 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진로적응력을 진로관심, 진로통제, 진로호기심, 진로자신감으로 구분해서 분석한 결과, 개인 특성인 학업열의가 가장 큰 영향력을 보이는 변수로 나타났다. 또한 진로적응력과 진로관심에는 개인특성과 가정환경, 학교환경이 다각도로 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 진로통제와 진로호기심, 진로자신감에는 학교환경이 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 고등학생의 진로적응력 증진을 위한 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examined the influence of personal characteristics(self-esteem, social withdrawal, de-pression, academic engagement, and cooperation), family environment(parenting attitudes), and school environ-ment(friendship and teacher relationships) on predictors of career adaptability in high school students. Methods For this purpose, hierarchical regression analysis was performed on the high school data of 1,213 boys and 1,041 girls from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018. Hierarchical regression analysis is a step-by-step method of determining the magnitude of the relative influence of multiple independent variables on the dependent variable. Results The results of this study were as follows. First, the factors that influenced high school students' career adaptability were academic engagement and self-esteem, inconsistent parenting, social withdrawal and depres-sion, and friendships. Second, when career adaptability was analyzed by dividing it into career interest, career control, career curiosity, and career confidence, the personal characteristics of academic engagement was found to be the most influential variable. In addition, it was also found that personal characteristics, family environment, and school environment have multi-angular effects on career adaptability and career interest, but school environ-ment has no effect on career control, career curiosity, and career confidence. Conclusions Based on this result, implications of this study and suggestions for improving the career adaptability of high school students were discussed.
