국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 부부갈등, 어머니 우울, 유아 사회적유능감, 유아 외현화 문제행동 간의 구조관계를 탐색하고 부부갈등과 어머니 우울이 유아 외현화 문제행동에 미치는 영향에서 유아 사회적유능감의 매개효과를 분석하는 것이다. 방법 이를 위해 본 연구는 한국아동패널 7차년도(2014년) 데이터를 사용했다. 변인들 간 구조관계를 분석하기 위해 AMOS 26.0 프로그램을 통해 구조방정식 모형 분석을 하였고, 매개효과 분석을 위해 부트르스래핑 방법을 사용하였다. 결과 첫째, 부부갈등은 사회적유능감에 직접적 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었는데, 이는 부부갈등이 높으면 사회적유능감이 낮아진다는 것을 의미한다. 둘째, 부부갈등과 우울은 외현화 문제행동에 직접적인 정적 영향을 미쳤는데, 이는 부부간 갈등수준이 높고 어머니가 우울할수록 외현화 문제행동이 증가함을 의미한다. 셋째, 사회적유능감은 유아의 외현화 문제행동에 직접적 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 사회적유능감이 낮은 유아일수록 외현화 문제행동을 빈번히 나타냄을 의미한다. 넷째, 사회적유능감은 부부갈등이 유아의 외현화 문제행동에 미치는 영향에서 매개효과를 가졌다. 이는 부부 관계에서 갈등수준이 높으면 유아 사회적유능감이 낮아지고, 낮아진 사회적유능감은 외현화 문제행동을 증가시킬 수 있음을 의미한다. 결론 본 연구의 결과를 통해 유아의 외현화 문제행동을 예방하고 감소시키기 위한 교육적 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examined the structural analysis between marital conflict, maternal depression, young children’s social competence, young children’s externalizing problem behavior: It also determined the mediating effect of young children’s social competence in the effect of marital conflict and maternal depression on young children’s externalizing problem behavior. Methods For this, this study used data from the 7th year of the Panel Study on Korean Children. This study ana-lyzed the structural equation model through the AMOS 26.0 program to verify the structural relationship between variables, and used the bootstrap method to examine the mediating effect. Results First, it has been confirmed that marital conflict has a direct negative effect on social competence. Second, marital conflict and depression had a direct positive effect on externalizing problem behavior. Third, social competence had a direct negative effect on externalizing problem behavior. Fourth, social competence had a me-diating effect in the effect of marital conflict on externalizing problem behavior. Conclusions Through the results of this study, we would like to present educational implications for preventing and reducing externalizing problem behavior in young children.
