빅카인즈 시스템을 활용한 노인학대 인식에 관한 빅데이터 분석 연구

국문 초록

정부는 노인복지법 개정과 노인학대 정책 수립 등을 중심으로, 민간 기관에서는 노인학대 예방 서비스 제공 등 노인학대 문제 해결을 위해서 다양한 노력을 기울이고 있음에도 정작 노인학대가 점점 더 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 날로 심각해지고 있는 노인학대 문제 해결을 위한 근원적인 접근방법으로서 우리 사회가 노인학대를 어떻게 인식하고 있는지, 노인학대 인식과 동향을 파악하고자 국내 언론보도 기사를 분석하였다. 연구방법은 빅데이터 분석 자료 및 분석시스템인 빅카인즈(BIGKinds)를 활용한 빅데이터 연구이다. 분석 자료는 고령사회로 진입한 2017년을 기점으로, 1구간은 고령화사회(aging society) 시기인 2011년~2016년까지이고, 2구간은 고령사회(aged society) 시기인 2017년~2022년까지 각각 6년간 수집된 언론 기사를 분석하였다. 1구간은 총 5,333건, 2구간은 총 5,630건의 기사를 수집하여 키워드 트렌드 분석, 관계도 분석, 연관어 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 키워드 트랜드 분석결과 전체 기간 중 2016년(1,168건)에 기사가 가장 많이 보도되었고, 그다음으로 2017년도(1,122건), 2021년도(1,093건) 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 관계도 분석결과 1구간의 주요 키워드는 노인복지법, 신고의무자와 신고인, 세계노인학대와 세계노인학대인식, 노인보호전문기관 팀장, 프로그램 등으로 나타났다. 2구간의 주요 키워드는 노인복지법, 신고의무자, 코로나19와 코로나, 학대예방경찰관 등으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연관어 분석결과에서 구간별 공통으로 출현한 키워드는 보건복지부, 가해자, 배우자, 고령화, 사회문제, UN, 사회적 관심, 업무협약, 요양원, (노인학대)현황보고서이다. 넷째, 연관어 분석결과에서 1구간에 단독으로 출현한 키워드는 경제적, 신고의무자, 피해자, 자식들, 자녀들, 개정안, INPEA(세계노인학대방지망), 어르신들, (노인보호)전문기관이고 2구간은 기념식, 경찰청, 인권보호, 증가추세, 고령사회, 요양시설, 경제적 착취, 종사자, 경찰서, 요양보호사이다. 노인학대 인식 제고 및 노인학대 예방을 위해서 노인복지법 개정과 노인학대 관련 법률의 제정, 노인학대 신고의무 활성화 방안 모색, 노인학대의 사회적 인식 확산을 위한 정기적인 활동, 배우자의 노(老)-노(老) 학대 감소를 위한 돌봄서비스 강화 등을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Even though there have been various efforts for solving the issue of elder abuse such as the government amended the Elderly Welfare Act and also established the elder abuse policies, and private institutions are providing elder abuse preventive services, the elder abuse is gradually increasing. Thus, as a fundamental approach for solving the issue of elder abuse which becomes aggravated day by day, this study analyzed domestic press report articles to understand the general awareness and trend of elder abuse in our society. In the research method, this study utilized big data analysis data and its analysis system called BIGKinds. The analysis data was divided into two sections based on 2017 when Korea entered the aged society. Section 1 is the period of aging society from 2011 to 2016 while Section 2 is the period of aged society from 2017 to 2022. The press articles collected for six years in each period were analyzed. After collecting total 5,333 articles of Section 1 and 5,630 articles of Section 2, this study conducted the keyword trend analysis, relation analysis, and related word analysis. The main results of this study are as follows. First, in the results of the keyword trend analysis, during the whole period, the most articles were reported in 2016(1,168), which was followed by 2017(1,122) and 2021(1,093) in order. Second, in the results of the relation analysis, the main keywords of Section 1 were the Elder Welfare Act, mandated reporter & reporter, and world elder abuse & world elder abuse awareness. The main keywords of Section 2 were the Elder Welfare Act, mandated reporter, COVID-19 & Corona, and anti-abuse police officer. Third, in the results of the related word analysis, the keywords commonly shown in each section were the Ministry of Health and Welfare, assailant, spouse, aging, social problem, UN, social interest, business agreement, nursing home, and elder abuse state report. Fourth, in the results of the related word analysis, the keywords solely shown in Section 1 were economic, mandated reporter, victim, children, offsprings, revised bill, INPEA(International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse), elderly, and elderly care institution while the keywords solely shown in Section 2 were ceremony, the National Police Agency, protection of human rights, growing trend, aged society, nursing facilities, economic exploitation, worker, police station, and care worker. For improving the awareness of elder abuse and preventing elder abuse, this study suggested the revision of the Elder Welfare Act, enactment of laws related to elder abuse, seeking the measures for vitalizing mandated report of elder abuse, regular activities for spreading the social awareness of elder abuse, and strengthening the care service for reducing elder abuse by spouse.
