시선과 응시를 활용한 시 창작 교육 방안 연구

국문 초록

본고는 ‘시선과 응시’ 개념을 참조하여 실재하지만 억압되어 부재해 보이는 세계를 구현하는 시 창작 교육 방안을 제시해 보고자 하였다. 시가 ‘부재’한 것을 표현함으로써 실험적인 언어 예술이라는 점에서 라캉의 시선과 응시 이론은 시 창작을 하는 데 있어 유용한 사유 방법이다. 본고에서 제시한 시 창작 개요는 ①시의 대상을 소개하기 → ②시의 대상에 대해 ‘시선’을 통해 묘사하기 → ③‘응시’가 나타날 수 있는 계기 → ④시의 대상에 대해 ‘응시’를 통해 묘사하기 → ⑤다시 ‘시선’을 통해 묘사하기 순으로 구성된다. ①단계에서는 시선과 응시를 통해 ‘보임’과 ‘보이지 않음’(부재)를 통해 드러내고 자 하는 대상을 소개한다. ②단계에서는 보편적인 시선을 통해 대상을 묘사함으로써 ‘보이는 것’을 중심으로 묘사한다. ③단계에서는 대상의 보이지 않는 ‘부재’를 만드는 작업으로 대상이 어떻게 보이지 않게 되는 지에 대해 묘사한다. ④단계에서는 응시를 통해 은폐된 진리를 상상하여 묘사한다. ⑤단계에서는 응시를 겪은 화자가 다시 ‘시선’으로 돌아와 보이는 것에 집중하여 묘사한다. 학습자는 이와 같은 시의 개요를 조별끼리 완성한 후 조별 피드백을 통해 내용을 보충하여 시 완성본을 과제로 제출한다. 이러한 교육 방안은 대부분의 학습자가 시 창작이 낯선 경험이었음에도 불구하고 통념적인 시선을 넘어 응시를 통해 세계를 깊이 이해하는 시 창작을 흥미롭게 시도할 수 있는 기회였다는 점에서 의의 가 있다. 

영문 초록

Regarding the concept of “eyesight and gaze,” this paper tried to suggest a method for teaching poetry creation that realizes a real but oppressed and absent world. Lacan's gaze and gaze theory is a valuable thought method for poetry creation because it is an experimental language art that expresses the “absence” of poetry. The outline of poetry creation presented in this paper is ①Introduce the subject of the poem → ②Describe the subject of the poem through “eyesight” → ③The opportunity for “gazing” → ④For the subject of the poem, use “Gaze” It is composed in the order of depicting through → ⑤ again through “eyesight.” In step ①, the object to be revealed through “visible” and “invisible” (absence) is introduced through gaze and gaze. In step ②, the object is depicted through a universal gaze, focusing on the “visible.” Step 3 describes how the object becomes invisible by creating an invisible ‘absence’ of the object. In step ④, imagine and describe the hidden truth through gaze. In step ⑤, the narrator, who has experienced the gaze, returns to the 'look' again and concentrates on what he sees. After completing this poem outline in groups, the learner supplements the contents through group feedback and submits the completed poem as an assignment. This educational method is meaningful because it was an exciting opportunity for most learners to try to create poetry that deeply understands the world through gaze beyond conventional perspectives, even though poetry creation was an unfamiliar experience.
