학문목적 한국어 쓰기교육 연구 동향 분석 - 학문목적 한국어 작문교육 관점

국문 초록

본 연구는 학문목적 한국어 쓰기 교육에서 작문 활동 관점의 작문교육에 관한 연구 동향 분석을 통해 학문목적 쓰기 교육의 방향을 모색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 2012년 1월부터 2022년 1월까지 최근 10년간 논문 및 저널 논문을 대상으로 1차 자료를 우선 수집하였다. 검색 키워드는 '학술적 한글 쓰기 교육, 학술적 글쓰기, 학술적 글쓰기 활동, 학술적 글쓰기, 학술적 글쓰기 활동, 학술적 목적의 한글 쓰기 전략' 이었다. 그리고 이들을 AlenxanderBrain(1867)(배식한, 2019:240)에서 제시한 학문목적 글쓰기 유형틀을 기준으로 삼아 자료들을 정리 및 검토하여 작문 활동에 관한 최종 분석대상 논문들을 선정하였다. 학술적 글쓰기 교육에 관한 연구 자료는 총 215편이 수집되었으며, 이 중 글쓰기 활동에 관한 연구는 23편이었다. 분석 결과 학문목적 쓰기 교육에 관한 연구 가운데 작문 활동에 관한 연구는 총 23편으로 연구의 비중이 상대적으로 부족하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 이들을 작문 활동에 관한 연구 동향으로 분석한 결과 작문 활동 유형틀, 작문 과제 유형과 활동방안, 타 언어 기능과의 활동연계, 기타 학습자의 특징 등 크게 4개의 유형으로 연구가 이루어진 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 이를 통해 학문목적 쓰기 교육은 기본적으로 외국인 유학생이 한국어에 관한 기초 지식과 표현 능력을 넘어 다양한 자료를 이용한 비판적이고 논리적인 사고 능력을 함양하는 과정으로 나아가는 것이라는 것을 강조하고 향후 학문목적 쓰기 교육은 학습자 중심의 능동적인 쓰기능력 함양을 위한 작문 활동 교육연구가 필요하다고 제안하였다. 

영문 초록

This study is to aimed to identify the direction of writing education for academic purposes through an analysis of research trends on writing education from a Korean perspective. Accordingly, primary data were first collected for the latest 10 years from January 2012 to January 2022, restricted to dissertations and journal papers. The search keywords were“Korean writing education for academic purposes”,“Korean writing for academic purposes”,“writing activities for academic purposes,”and“Korean writing strategies for academic purpose”. Furthermore, were selected for the final analysis after organizing and reviewing target papers on writing activity based on the academic writing type frame presented by Alexander Brain, in 1867 (Bae, 2019:240). A total of 215 articles were collected to obtain research data on writing education for academic purposes, of which 23 were studies dealing with writing activities. In all 23 studies of writing activities in research on writing education for academic purposes were founded, thus indicating insufficient research interest in the past. Consequently, -Analysis of writing activities identified, four major types of research were found. Classified writing activity type, writing task type and activity method, activity linkage with other language skills, and other characteristics of learners. This study suggests that education research on writing activities is necessary for the cultivation of learner-centered active writing skills. In addition, And this study emphasizes that writing education for academic purposes is necessary process for foreign students to develop critical and logical thinking skills using various materials beyond basic knowledge and expression skills of the Korean language.
