초등교사 양성을 위한 미술실기 교육과정 기초 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등교사 양성기관 12개 대학의 미술실기 교육과정 및 강의계획서를 조사 분석하였으며 이를 토대로 다음과 같은 바람직한 미술실기 교육과정의 개발 방향을 제안하였다. 초등학교 미술과 교육과정 전 영역에서 원만한 교수·학습이 이루어질 수 있는 균형 있는 프로그램이 필요하다. 구태의연한 실기과정은 지양하고 현 교육과정과 더불어 향후 교육과정 개정의 내용을 포함하며 미술계의 흐름이나 동시대 미술의 동향을 반영하는 다양한 미술 표현능력을 갖출 수 있도록 교육과정이 구성되어야 한다. 또한 미술교육과 전 교과목의 구조 속에서 교수·학습 및 교과교육과 연계하여 총체적이며 새로운 교육과정의 구성과 교수·학습 방법의 연구를 필요로 한다.

영문 초록

To develop more advanced studio art education program, the studio art curricula for the students who will be primary teachers were analyzed. In this study, the examination of the curricular and syllabuses of the twelve Korean universities of education were conducted. In case of the ‘Studio artⅠ’ and ‘Studio artⅡ’, the contents of syllabus and the instruction methods varied among the universities. Generally, it was found that the proportion of contents was skewed toward drawing and painting, and design area was more or less neglected which should be rectified for balancing the curricula. Neither instruction methods and theory needed for studio art nor various design fields were included properly. Clay is the major material in sculpture. There are little meaningful differences between the ‘Studio artⅠ’ and ‘Studio artⅡ’, and basic drawings and watercolor paintings are the major subject in both cases. For the education of the future primary teachers, the followings should be considered in the studio art program development: To facilitate the expression capability for the preservice primary teachers, it is better the contents should contain proper amounts of information on entire art field, and thus, the program should be redesigned and balanced. It also should reflect new national art education curriculum that will be revised as well as present one, and the current art world and contemporary trends on the studio art program. It should include instruction methods and theory needed for studio art.
