코로나 19 상황에 대한 유아들의 인식 탐색

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 코로나 19가 장기화되는 상황에서 효과적인 유아 대상 지원방안을 마련하기 위해 그동안 간과되었던 유아들의 목소리에 관심을 가지고 연구하고자 코로나 19 상황에 대해 유아들이 가지고 있는 인식을 질적 연구방법으로 탐색하였다. 방법 이를 위해 서울에 거주하는 만 5세 유아 5명을 대상으로 질적 연구방법 중 내러티브 연구방법을 활용하고자 심리적 불안에 영향을 미치는 인식 변인과 관련된 반구조화된 질문을 선정하였고, 이를 토대로 유아들의 이야기와 그림 등의 자료를 수집하여 전문가들과 함께 분석하였다. 결과 연구결과, 코로나 19 상황에 대해 유아들의 질병위험성, 질병예방법, 놀이, 관계에 대한 인식을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 구체적으로 질병위험성과 관련하여 코로나 19에 대한 과도한 공포감, 질병예방법과 관련하여 순종적 태도, 놀이와 관련하여 또래와의 상호작용에 대한 갈망, 관계와 관련하여 부정적 관계변화에 대한 인식 등이 나타났다. 결론 본 연구결과를 통해 초유의 전염병 사태에서 어린 시민인 유아의 행복을 도모하고, 권리를 존중할 수 있는 기초자료가 마련될 것이라고 사료된다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were to explore the perceptions of young children through a qualitative research method in order to prepare an effective support plan for young children in the prolonged Corona 19 situation, with interest in the voices of young children that had been overlooked. Methods For this purpose, semi-structured questions related to cognitive variables affecting psychological anxiety were selected to utilize the narrative research method among the qualitative research methods for five 5-year-old children living in Seoul. Based on the selected questions, young children’s stories and drawings were collected and analyzed with experts. Results As a result of the study, the young children s perception about disease risk, disease prevention methods, play, and relationships regarding the COVID-19 situation were analyzed. Specifically, in relation to the disease risk, an excessive fear of Corona 19 and regarding the disease prevention, obedient attitude was showed. In relation to the play, the craving for interaction with peers and regarding the relationship, the perception of negative relationship change, etc. appeared. Conclusions Through the results of this study, it will be prepared a basic data that can promote the happiness of young children, who are our young citizens, and respect their rights in an unprecedented epidemic situation.
