국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니의 일-가정 역할갈등이 학령초기 아동의 외현화 문제행동에 미치는 영향에서 어머니의 온정적 양육행동과 아동의 실행기능 곤란의 이중매개효과를 밝히고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널 8차(2015년) 조사에 참여한 만 7세의 아동과 그들의 어머니 584명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 20.0과 PROCESS macro(Model 6)를 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과, 어머니의 일 -가정 역할갈등은 학령초기 아동의 외현화 문제행동에 직접적인 영향을 미치며, 온정적 양육행동과 아동의 실행기능 곤란을 이중매개하여 간접적으로도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 학령초기 아동의 외현화 문제행동 중재하기 위해서는 어머니가 일과 가정 간의 역할갈등을 감소시키기 위한 개입이 필요 함을 시사한다. 또한, 어머니의 심리적 특성인 일과 가정 간의 역할갈등이 온정적 양육행동이라는 행동적 특성을 통해 아동의 실행기능 곤란과 외현화 문제행동에도 중요한 영향을 미친다는 점에서 이러한 요인들이 학령초기 아동의 외현화 문제행동을 중재함에 있어 주요하게 고려될 필요가 있음에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The present study examined the influences of mother s work-family conflict on their warm parenting, as well as their early school-aged children s executive function difficulty and externalizing problem behaviors. The data were drawn from the eighth wave Panel Study of Korea Children (PSKC) data. A total of 584 dual-earner mothers and their first graders from elementary school(boys: 297, girls: 287) were the subjects of this study. Data analyses were conducted using SPSS version 20.0 for descriptive statistics and PROCESS macro for the separate and dual mediating effect. The major finding of the study was the statistically significant partial mediation effects of warm parenting and children s executive function difficulty in the relation between mothers’ work-family conflict and children s externalizing problem behaviors. these results indicated that provides basis for specific interventions for early school-aged children’s externalizing problem behaviors. More specifically, the results indicated that adaptation of mothers’ work-family conflict and warm parenting, children s executive function difficulty are considered all together to understand children’s externalizing problem behaviors. Based on this study, I hope that further investigations to improve the early school-aged children’s externalizing problem behaviors are to be continued.
