국문 초록

조기 은퇴가 유행하여 은퇴 후 생존기간이 길어지며, 초고령화 사회로 진입함에 따라 노인인구가 급격히 증가하고 있지만 대부분 직장인들은 노후생활에 대한 아무런 대비도 없이 은퇴를 맞이하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국의 직장인들이 원하는 노후생활의 모습을 알아보기 위하여, 대부분 사람들이 관심을 갖는 4가지 속성(관심사, 거주지, 이웃, 자금)을 고려하였다. 속성에 따라 몇 가지 수준을 고려한 이산선택모형을 이용하여 노후생활의 형태에 따른 선호도를 조사하였다. 분석결과 현재 직장인들은 은퇴 후 현 거주지 또는 도시에서, 재취업 또는 여행을 하며, 학교친구와 1~5 억원 사이의 은퇴자금을 준비하여 은퇴생활을 하는 것을 가장 선호하는 것을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

As early retirement becomes popular and the duration of life after retirement increases, population of the elderly is increasing rapidly as society enters fastest-aging society. Unfortunately, the majority of workers enter retirement without any preparation for life in old age. We consider the four most common attributes which are interests, residence, neighbors, and funds in our research to analyze the form of retirement life desired most by Korean workers. After considering certain levels of the aforementioned attributes, we utilized the discrete choice model to investigate the preference according to the form of retirement life. The results of our analysis show that Koreans have the highest preference for retirement life in their current residence or the city, being reemployed or traveling, associating with school friends and having funds between one hundred million and five hundred million Korean won.
