NCS 기반 실용음악교육의 효용성에 관한 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 교수자들이 NCS 기반 실용음악교육의 필요성과 효용성에 대해 어떠한 인식을 가지고 있는지를 분석하고, 이를 기초로 개선 방안을 제시하는 데 목적을 두고 진행하였고, 이를 위해 실용음악 관련 학과 교수 24명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 문항의 주제는 크게 제도 인지 및 도입 준비, 필요성 및 적용 가능성 인식, 기타 NCS 적용, 개선 방안 등 5가지로 크게 분류하였다. 조사 결과 제도 인지 및 도입 준비에서는 전체적으로 NCS의 개념을 파악하고 있었고, 도입에 대해 준비를 하고 있었으나 필요성 및 적용 가능성 인식, 기타 NCS 적용 등에 대해서는 부정적인 인식을 가지고 있었다. 개선 방안과 관련한 주관식 문항의 답변을 근거로 NCS 기반 실용음악교육의 문제점을 분석한 결과 NCS 기반 실용음악교육의 근거 자체가 부족하다는 것, 해외 사례에 대한 자세한 검토가 부족하다는 점, 대학의 자율을 상당 부분 인정하였다는 점, 설계 자체의 문제, NCS 기반 실용음악의 효용성 문제 등을 꼽을 수 있었다. 교수자들의 인식을 분석한 결과 NCS 기반 실용음악교육은 그 효용성이 상당히 낮았다. 연구의 목적에서도 밝혔듯 하나의 NCS 세분류를 설계 및 수정하고, 해당 학습 모듈을 만들기 위해서는 적지 않은 시간과 예산이 소요된다. 교수자들의 인식이 부정적이라고 하더라도 이미 설계된 체계를 부정할 수는 없다. 개선 방안 역시 이 체계를 가급적 유지하고, 적용의 묘를 살리는 방향에서 찾아야 할 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구의 후속 연구로 산업 현장에서 요구하는 NCS 기반 실용음악교육 방안, 해외 사례 심층 분석을 통한 개선 방안을 연속해 진행할 계획이다.

영문 초록

This study was carried out to analyze the perception of the teachers on the necessity and usefulness of NCS based applied music education and to present enhancement plan based on it, and survey was carried out with 24 applied music related department professors for it. The subject of the questionnaire was largely classified to 5 categories including awareness of the system, preparation for introduction, perception on necessity and possibility of application, application of other NSC and enhancement plan. As a result of the survey, they had grasp of overall concept of NSC in the awareness of the system and preparation for introduction and they were preparing for introduction, but they had negative perception on the necessity and possibility of application and application of other NSC. As a result of analyzing the problems of NSC based applied music education based on the enhancement related short answer categories, it was pointed out that, the grounds of NCS based applied music education itself is insufficient, detail review on overseas cases is not enough, autonomy of university is recognized significantly, problem in the design itself and the problem of usefulness of NCS based applied music. As a result of analyzing perception of the teachers, usefulness of NCS based applied music education was significantly low. As it was mentioned in the objective of the study, to design and modify one sub classification of NCS and to make study model, substantial time and budget are required. Even if the perception of the teachers is negative, already designed system cannot be denied. Enhancement plan shall be also found in the direction of maintaining this system if possible and bringing out cleverness of operation. For this, as follow-up study of this study, NCS based applied music education plan required in industrial site and enhancement plan through in-depth study of overseas cases are planned to be carried out next.
