외국인 유학생들을 위한 한국 언어ㆍ문화 수업 캡스톤 디자인 수업 설계 방안

국문 초록

본 연구는 충청남도에 소재한 S대학교에서 2017년도 2학기 1학기 동안 실시한 한국어학 강독 수업의 사례를 기반으로 외국인 유학생들을 대상으로 실시하는 한국 언어ㆍ문화 수업을 위한 캡스톤 디자인 수업 설계 방안을 제시하는데 목적을 둔다. 최근 교육계에서는 창의적인 인재양성을 위한 자기주도 학습 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 캡스톤 디자인을 활용한 방법은 바로 이러한 교육계의 변화에 따라 등장한 것으로서 주로 공학 교육 분야에서 긍정적인 학습 효과들이 나오고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 한국어학 강독 수업이 전통적으로 읽기와 언어 지식에 초점을 맞추어 진행된다는 점이 개선되어야 한다고 보고, 한국어 모국어 화자들을 대상으로 실시하는 한국어학 강독 수업에 참여한 학습자들의 요구를 조사하였다. 그 다음 학습자들의 요구에 따라 멀티미디어 도구를 활용한 수업으로 재구성 하여 수업을 실시하였다. 그리고 마지막으로 이를 바탕으로 외국인을 위한 한국어학 강독 수업의 캡스톤 디자인 수업 모형을 설계하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 캡스톤 디자인 설계 모형은 외국인 학습자들에게 중요한 학문적 관심이 목표언어ㆍ문화의 사회문화적 맥락과 자국 문화의 대비를 고찰하여 세계의 보편적인 정서를 이해하고 이를 통해 상호문화의 특수성을 이해하는 문제라는 점에 주목하여 ‘학생 창작형’의 캡스톤 디자인을 위한 모형을 설계하였다. 그리고 수업의 목표를 ‘문헌탐색으로 기반으로 한 토론 역량 강화’를 목표로 설정하였다. 수업 영역들은 네 가지로 나누어 제시하였다. 첫째 ‘시각화 경험’과 ‘PBL 활동을 통한 문제해결 능력’ 셋째, ‘동료와의 협업 능력 향상’ 넷째, ‘발표 및 토론 활동들을 통한 자기표현 능력 향상으로 나누어 구체적인 실행 방법과 내용들을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 캡스톤 디자인 설계 모형은 외국인을 위한 한국 언어ㆍ문화 수업에 적용할 수 있는 캡스톤 디자인 수업 설계 방안을 제시하였다는 점이 기존에 시도되지 않은 연구로서 차별성이 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to propose a teaching methodology of Capstone design on the teaching Korean language and culture of the foreign students. This research was based on the case study of Seminar in Korean reading class applying to the Korean university students who major in Korean Language and Literature in ‘S University’ of Chungcheongnam-do Province during the second semester of 2017. Recently, the importance of self-directed learning has been emphasized in the educational world for the development of creative talents. The use of capstone design has emerged as a result of such changes in the education system, and positive learning effects are mainly emerging in engineering education. In this study was investigated the learner s needs who participated in Seminar in Korean text reading class for Korean native speakers in order to improve the fact that Seminar in Korean text reading class is traditionally focused on reading and learning of language knowledge. Then, we reconstructed the class using multimedia tools according to the needs of learners. In this study, we designed the model Capstone Design for Students Creation . The important academic interest for foreign learners is to understand the universal emotions of the world by considering the social-cultural context of the target language and culture and the contrast of their own culture. The goal of the lesson is to enhance the capacity of discussion based on literature explore. The lesson was divided into four areas. First, visualization experience . second, ability to solve problems through PBL activities . Third, the ability to cooperate with colleagues. Fourth, it enhances the self expression ability through presentation and discussion activities. The Capstone Design Model developed through this study was designed as a capstone design model applicable to Seminar in Korean text reading class for foreigners. The capstone design model proposed in this study is a new study, which has not been attempted so far. Therefore, the capstone design model can be applied to teaching Korean language and culture in the field of teaching for foreigners education in the future.
