장이모우 영화에 나타난 집단무의식의 형상화 연구

국문 초록

영화의 재미는 사건이다. 그것은 기본적으로 인간들 사이에 일어나는 갈등이 중심이다. 그리고 구조적 문제들이 극중에서 표면화됨으로써 인식이 가능해진다. 이런 이유로 인간과 삶의 현실성을 생동감 있게 담아내고자 하는 감독의 리얼리티는 가치를 인정받는다. 여기에는 장르에 함유된 사회성을 완성도 높게 주제화해야 한다는 것이 전제가 된다. 바로 장이모우의 초기 영화들이 여기에 해당된다. 장이모우의 영화의 시간과 공간은 여전히 항전 시기에 놓여 있다. 왜냐하면 이 역사적 시간이 마치 민족문화를 지탱하는 무대가 된 것처럼 되었기 때문이다.「붉은 수수밭」은 힘든 인생 전체에 대한 관조 혹은 시대에 대한 통쾌한 반발이다. 원초적 욕망과 야성적 충동, 자유분방한 호기는 관객들로 하여금 감독의 의도에 대해 의문을 제기하게 만든다. 그것은 무의식 속에 숨어있어 쉽게 발견되지 않는다. 삶이 인간을 속이고 역사를 기만했을지라도 끈질기게 살아간다는 것은 인간에게 중요하다. 그것이「인생」의 도입이나 마무리에서 주는 공통의 메시지이다. 여기에는 역사와 현재에 대한 단순 명료하면서도 관객이 쉽게 이해할 수 있는 고발이 깔려 있다. 영화에서 보여주는 중국현대사는 결코 이데올로기나 정치적 투쟁이라는 외적 변화와는 관계없다. 실제 인생은 열심히 살길을 찾아 살아가야 한다는 진리를 보여준다. 결국 장이모우가 말하고자 하는 것은 단순하다. 지난 과거의 주인은 바로 중국 인민이었음을 은연중에 말한다. 그런데 개인에 초점을 맞추기보다는 집단무의식의 힘을 빌려 보여준다. 나아가 슬픔이든 기쁨이든 모든 것을 운명으로 받아들이는 인민이 있기에 현재의 중국사회는 진화하고 국가는 발전한다는 것을 감독은 말하고 있는 것이다.

영문 초록

Fun in movies is an event. It is basically the center of the conflicts that arise among humans. And structural problems can be perceived in the drama. For this reason, the reality of the film, which aims to capture the realities of life and human beings, is appreciated. It is premised that the sociality contained in the genre should be highly matched. This is the early movies of Zhang Yimou. The time and space of Zhang Yimou s film is still in the period of anti-war. Because this historical time has become like a stage supporting the national culture. The 「붉은 수수밭」 is a contemplation of the whole tough life or an exciting reaction to the age. The primordial desire, the wild impulse, and the free - spirited breath cause the audience to question the director s intentions. It is hidden in the unconscious and is not easily found. It is important for humans to live persistently even if life deceives people and deceives history. It is a common message from the introduction and finishing of life . It is simple and clear about history and the present, but there is a charge that the audience can easily understand. The Chinese modern history that is shown in the film is never related to the external change of ideology or political struggle. Real life shows the truth that we should live to live hard. After all, what Zhang Yimou wants to say is simple. In the past, the owner of the past was the Chinese people, not the personalization, but the power of the group. Furthermore, because there are people who accept even such destiny, the present society is evolving and the state is developing.
