청소년이 인식하는 가족건강성과 진로정체감의 관계에서 자기수용의 매개효과

국문 초록

이 연구의 주된 목적은 청소년들이 인식하는 가족건강성과 자기수용이 진로정체감과 어떤 관련성이 있는지, 가족건강성은 자기수용을 매개로 하여 진로정체감에 영향을 주는지 밝히는데 있다. 연구대상은 중학교 1, 2, 3학년 238명(남:137, 여:101)을 대상으로 하고 있으며, 분석된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인구통계학적 요인(성별,학년, 가족형태, 가족종교유무, 경제수준)들 가운데 경제적 수준에 따라 가족건강성과 자기수용에서 집단 간 차이를 나타냈다. 그리고 학년에 따라 진로정체감 수준에 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 둘째, 연구변인 간 상관관계 분석결과, 가족건강성이 높을수록 자기수용과 진로정체감 수준이 높았고, 자기수용수준이 높을수록 진로정체감 수준이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 경제수준에 따라 가족건강성과 진로정체감 관계에서 자기수용의 매개효과를 분석한 결과, 경제수준 ‘상’집단과 ‘중’집단에서 완전매개효과를 나타냈고, ‘하’집단에서는 매개효과를 나타내지 않았다. 가족건강성은 청소년의 진로정체감발달에 중요한 영향을 미치고 있지만 자기수용을 매개할 때 진 로정체감에 대한 직접효과는 사라지고 자기수용을 통해 간접효과를 나타내는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 간접효과는 경제수준 ‘중’집단에서 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 청소년이 지각하는 경제수준이 높지 않을 경우 진로정체감 발달에 대한 자기수용의 역할이 더 중요함을 보고하였다. 이외에도 본 연구에서 도출된 결과를 선행연구 결과와 함께 논의하고 추후 연구에 대하여 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The main purpose of this study is to reveal how family strengths and self-acceptance perceived by teenagers are related to career identity, and family strengths affect career identity by using self-acceptance as a mediating variable. The analyzed results are as follows. First, among demographic factors (sexuality, grade, family type, religious status, economic level) showed differences between groups in family strengths and self-acceptance depending on economic level. And the level of career identity showed a ignificant difference with the grade. Second, the correlations were analyzed that the higher family strengths, the higher self-acceptance and career identity, and the higher self-acceptance, the higher career identity. Third, a analysis of the mediation effects of self-acceptance in relation to family strengths and career identity according to economic level showed full-mediating effect in the higher and middle groups, and did not show the mediation effects in the lower groups. Family strengths is having an important impact on the development of career identity for teens. However, when family strengths mediated self-acceptance, the direct effects on career identity were lost and the indirect effects were shown mediated self-acceptance. These indirect effects were found to be greater in the middle group of economies. It was reported that the role of self-acceptance in the development of a sense of career identity is more important if the level of economy in which teenagers is not high.
