재한 중국 유학생들의 학업적 자기효능감과 학업적 정서조절이 학업성취에 미치는 영향: 성취목표지향성의 매개효과

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 재한 중국 유학생들의 학업적 자기효능감과 학업적 정서조절이 학업성취에 미치는 영향에서 성취목표지향성의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이러한 목적을 위해 2018년 3월부터 4월까지 서울 소재 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 중국인 유학생 206명 학생을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 SPSS 23.0과 Macro 프로그램을 통해 변인간 관련성과 영향력을 통계분석을 진행하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학업적 자기효능감, 학업적 정서조절, 성취목표지향성, 학업 성취 간에는 통계적으로 유의한 상관이 검증되었다. 둘째, 학업적 자기효능감과 학업적 정서조절이 학업 성취에 미치는 영향에서 성취목표 지향성의 4가지 유형들의 매개효과를 검증결과, 숙달접근 목표 지향성과 수행회피 목표지향성의 매개효과가 검증되었다. 반면, 숙달회피 목표지향성 이나 수행접근 목표지향성의 매개효과는 검증되지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 재한 중국인 유학생들을 위한 학업 성취 증진 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to find out the structural relationship among academic self-efficacy, academic emotion regulation, academic achievement among Chinese students who study in Korean university, and to examine whether achievement goal orientation mediates the relationship between academic self-efficacy, academic emotion regulation and academic achievement. For this purpose, 206 Chinese student’s survey results were collected from March to April 2018, whom studying at four-year universities in Seoul. And statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS 23.0 and Macro program. The results of the study are as follows. Firstly, there was a statistically significant correlation between academic self-efficacy, academic emotion regulation, achievement goal orientation, and academic achievement. Secondly, the mediating effects of the four types of achievement goal orientation on the academic achievement of academic self-efficacy and academic emotion regulation were examined, and the mediating effects of the mastery approach goal orientation and performance avoidance goal orientation were verified. On the other hand, mediating effects of mastery avoidance goal orientation and performance access goal orientation were not verified. Based on these results, how to improve academic achievement for international students who study in Korea was discussed.
