진로결정 어려움이 대학생의 상담 태도 및의도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 인지 관련 진로결정 어려움과 정서 및 성격 관련 진로결정 어려움이 상담 태도 및 의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 충남 지역 C 대학의 재학생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하고 이 중 243명의 자료를 분석 하였다. 첫째, 성별, 학년별, 전공계열별 진로 결정 어려움 및 상담 태도, 의도의 차이를 분석한 결과 인지관련 진로결정 어려움에서만 전공계열 간 차이가 있었다. 즉, 인문사회 계열의 학생들이 다른 계열에 비해 인지관련 진로 결정 어려움을 더 크게 지각하였다. 둘째, 중다회귀분석 결과, 불안, 비관적 관점, 자기개념 및 정체감, 준비성 부족이 유의하게 상담의도를 예측하였다. 또한 비관적 관점, 정보 불일치, 불안, 준비성 부족이 유의하게 낙인내성을 예측했으며, 비관적 관점, 불안, 정보 불일치가 유의 하게 전문성을 예측하였다. 본 연구 결과는 대학생의 인지 관련 진로결정 어려움, 정서 및 성격 관련 진로결정 어려움이 상담 태도 및 의도를 예측함을 밝혔다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study explored the effects of cognition-related and emotion/personality-related career decision-making difficulties on counseling attitude and intention for college students. For this purpose, a survey was administered to students in C university and the data from 243 students were analyzed. Results are as follows. First, there was a statistically significant difference in cognition-related career decision-making difficulties by student major. That is, students of humanities and social sciences majors perceived more cognition-related career decision-making difficulties compared with other majors. Second, results from the multiple regression analyses showed that counseling intention was predicted significantly by anxiety, pessimistic view, self-concept, identity, and lack of readiness. Also, stigma tolerance was predicted significantly by pessimistic view, information incongruence, anxiety, and lack of readiness, while expertise was predicted by pessimistic view, anxiety, and information incongruence. Results of the present study implied that cognition- and emotion-related career decision-making difficulties predicted college students’ counseling attitude and intention. Based on the results, the study provided suggestions for college eduction and career counseling in relation to career decision-making difficulties.
